3 casas de vacaciones bien equipadas, todas con sala de estar 3 dormitorios 2 cuartos de baño 1 baño con ducha para 6 personas 2 dormitorios con cama doble 1 dormitorio con dos camas individuales en cada cabaña acceso para sillas de ruedas en la planta baja. Ubicado en los terrenos de Bowden Springs Fishery con pesca disponible todo el año. Cubierta en la parte trasera con vistas vírgenes de los alrededores. Linlithgow 10-15 minutos en coche y Edimburgo y Glasgow son fácilmente accesibles en coche o en tren desde Linlithgow cada 25-40 minutos en tren. Linlithgow en sí está lleno de historia que alberga el Palacio Real, que fue el lugar de nacimiento de María, Reina de Escocia. La calle principal cuenta con muchos bares y restaurantes locales y algunas pequeñas tiendas muy interesantes. Wonderful idyllic cottage

This was a wonderful cottage and a beautiful setting. It was extremely clean and well equipped. The owner was delightful and very helpful.It should be noted that there is no dryer or hot tub. But there was a rack to dry clothes on and they dried quickly. Also, you need to take your own bath soap. It was very up-to-date and the view from your window was gorgeous. Lambs scampering about and a beautiful view of the valley. We were extremely happy with our location.

Christmas stay

A beautiful spacious house, nicer than in the photos. Comfy bed and we appreciated the Christmas decorations. Had a nice wakk past the lake and up the hill in to the woods.

Best stay in a Cottage in Scotland

We found a beautiful Cottage in the near of Linlithgow. For the start all necessary things were available in the Cottage. In the evening Jim, the owner, visit shortly and had a talk with us. The area around is so beautiful. Sheaps, top view on the Ochils.

In the country,but close to amenities

Very clean and tidy,only comment is we had a long 7 hour drive and there was no milk in fridge and no tea bags etc,didnt want heaps just a quick cuppa and it would have been nice to leave an odd bin bag, as we were there for 6 days,but apart from that a lovely Comfy stay. comfy comfy stay

A stunning view of the countryside, a lovely place to stay

Großartiger Stützpunkt für Ausflüge

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche mit sehr vielen Ausflügen, die wir alle sehr komfortabel von unserer Unterkunft aus erreichen konnten. Die Ferienwohnung liegt etwas außerhalb, aber zentral für die meisten schönen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es gibt ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen und die Wohnung bietet einige Annehmlichkeiten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

5 of us stayed here Monday to Thursday, we were all very impressed with the cottage, and the views around it were spectacular. There was everything you could need for a stay here. The fishing lake, just a few yards from the cottage was beautiful, even if you don't fish, was lovely to walk around. The town of Linlithgow was just a couple of miles away, with an historical palace to visit, good rail links to Edinburgh and Glasgow and good restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend these cottages, they are a great find. Enjoy!!

Great stay with great Hosts

Amazing cottage. Communication with hosts where excellent. Even round up the sheep herd was inclusive :-). We had a wonderful time in the cottage and just loved the view of the fields surrounding. We found everything we needed in the cottage as well. Thanks again for a really nice vacation.

Amazing location

The cottage was central for everywhere we wanted to go and was near to the train station for easy access into Edinburgh. Having 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms is very unusual and it made life so much easier for everyone.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped and great location. Ideal base for visiting Edinburgh and Glasgow. Linlithgow Palace is definitely worth visiting. Perfect holiday home - we didn’t want to leave.

Country isolation less than 1/2 hour from Edinburgh.

A week that had almost all we needed. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms make it ideal for a larger family. Trout fishing within 50 feet of the cottage. Only weakness was the beds are low (ikea type) and are well passed their comfort guarantee.

Absolutely beautiful

This cottage was a great surprise and absolutely beautiful. If you’re ready to disconnect from social media and take a break from our fast paced lives, this cottage is the answer. I rated communications with property manager less than 5 stars as we had difficulty reaching Jim and no information was provided ahead of time as to how to get there and the check in process. Since we were traveling via London from the US, this was unsettling. However once we made contact with him, they were extremely responsive to our needs and questions. A fantastic location and we would definitely return.

Vriendelijke eigenaar, fijn verblijf. Alleen jammer dat er vanuit de cottage geen wandelingen gaan. Alles moet eerst met de auto. Het huisje was schoon alleen de pannen waren vies en ook de bank was niet helemaal schoon.

Maison moderne à la campagne à mi chemin entre Glasgow et Édimbourg

Très belle maison spacieuse, propre, avec une literie confortable et une cuisine bien équipée. Les vaches dans le champs d’à côté ont bien occupé nos enfants. Belle vue des chambres. Pratique pour visiter Édimbourg, Glasgow et le château de Stirling. Propriétaire très sympathique.

Wonderful location and fabulous cottage

We loved Carriber Cottage - spotlessly clean, spacious. well equipped, modern, comfortable and convenient. You can park right outside, walk to the fishing lake or drive to Linlithgow station to take the train quickly into Edinburgh. Three large bedrooms and three full bathrooms - and the Feb a hot tub you can use. If you're driving up to Scotland it's ideal as a beautiful base to stay and explore from. Jim greeeted us on arrival and was friendly and welcoming. What a great find.
