We had a huge sea view room But the whole hotel needs to be brought up to date The lift has no buttons you have to stick your fingers in the hole of the floor you need It’s such a shame because it’s an ideal location for The Congress theatre don’t expect a lavish breakfast as its cereal ,toast and get there early as there was nothing left at 8.30/9 not a croissant left No hot food and no member of Staff to ask to refill cold meats or pastries I’m glad we had only booked one night would go back if it was modernised

Room ok Needs a lot of attention as beds and pillows had no mattress or pillow protectors on them The room dusty . No cleaning was done with tissue under bed with nail clippings .noise like a drill in the bathroom. Was sorted but came back in morning Lift outdated and needs attention Would not recommend this hotel to friends. Worse hotel I’ve stayed at in Eastbourne

The lifts were broken rokms dirty and smelt baf, broken tap with screw to turn, broken wardrobe offered another room that had leak and v wet carpet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was refused a refund to go somewhere else. Sticky dirty carpet in room. Missing buttons in lifts meaning you had to put your finger in a hole with electrics. If you were on level 2 none of the buttons worked so the only way to use was call reception for them to press the button on ground level to send lift up or down. Absolute joke

Reception staff were on point and the room was mostly clean and spacious. Thebroom wasn't what I chose in my booking but it was spacious and well situated to afford some peace and quiet. Some attention is needed to clean the shower from mould is recommended but didn't affect us

Great stay in a lovely room with warm welcome.

We were welcomed warmly to the hotel.Our room was huge and looked directly onto the beach. There was a choice of bath and shower or level access shower. All the staff we met were friendly and the reception area has been refurbished since our last stay with a new breakfast room and bar. The room was clean with good heavy curtains.

Great Sleep! Hotel parking easy, right in front of the hotel, you can purchase a parking permit from the hotel or pay via your phone. 5-minute walk to loads of fantastic restaurants. 10-minute walk to the pier along the beach front. Hotel room was large and spacious, and the bed was comfortable, TV had a great selection of channels to watch from, had a great sleep! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Great value for money!

Nice rooms but poor response to problems

Room was nice but got woke at 5.30am on sunday morning by a sort of loud mechanical sound aporoc every 20 srconds. It was too loud to get back to sleep. Had to dress and go to reception as no-one answering phone. The noise was only on our corridor and i met another couple siffering from it. I had to go to reception 3 times before i was taken seriously, and eventually the manager moved me to a new room, where i caught up with a bit of sleep. Sadly i missed half a day of a 2 day weekend as a result. The manager told me to email.him about it, which i did. No reply so emailed again no reply again. Rude!!!

Huge room with a sea view, entrance area with wardrobe and a huge bathroom. Plug and USB sockets by the bed which was handy. Large comfy bed. Nice breakfast included in our rate. Only downsides were that one of the cupboards in the room had a handle missing and had been screwed shut rather than replacing the handle, and there was a half-drunk bottle of wine in one of the cupboards that did open!
