Lovely hotel, very clean and staff were all very polite. We had a room on the 12th floor and the view was amazing. Nice big room room with large shower, bed very comfortable. We did not eat here, but did have a drink and sit in the garden area where there are also sun beds to relax on. Would defiantly go back to this hotel, as it was only 5mins walk to main centre.
a nice hotel, unfriendly staff at check in, privilege rooms are small and smelly and would not recumbent, the bar staff was great, the only real guest friendly service in the hotel... is a Mercure and I would stay next time in the ibis next door instead...
In general the hotel has what you need for one night. The location seems to be good. Although I have to be fair and say that I did not really have time to view the city. If I could wish one thing then it is a faster check out.
A decent hotel located very close to the Railway Station and the Old Town, it allowed me to move around freely without having to hail a taxi or look for any other mode of transportation. The Winstone restaurant inside the hotel offered great food - which in turn made my breakfast perfect.
Reception staff were fantastic when we arrived, this service was the same through all areas of the hotel and staff. It was my birthday during our stay and some cakes and fruit were sent up to our room. Much appreciated.
A very nice experience. Just off the sometimes noisy center of the old city, but within a comfortable walking distance. Really good service, from the entire staff. The only con is the adjacent building site.
As usual with Mercure the hotel was good, and I enjoyed my stay. the room was comfortable, and the catering was largely fine. I would probably stay again, or ,maybe at the adjacent ibis, which 2 friends found to be very satisfactory..
All the basics are good, it's clean, comfortable, nice staff and very good breakfast. The restaurant offers the main polish dishes. One night I was tired to go to dinner and still I could try a typical food. :)
Stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a tour group. About a 10-15 minute walk to the old town. Had a quiet room except for the construction site next door which started work at 6.30 in the morning so no chance of a lie in. Nice bathroom with big walk in shower. Basic toiletries. Only problem was the hairdryer which was fixed over the basin so the hose had to be stretched over so far to reach my head it pulled out of the dryer. Also the shelf in the bathroom was too high for me to reach. Breakfast was fine but we had a buffet dinner for the two nights which was not very good. Very little choice and nothing for vegetarians. The first night the dessert was a piece of cake or possibly an apple but the second night a few more cakes appeared which one of my party had seen earlier in the Business Centre so were obviously being recycled. Overall a decent hotel but would not choose to eat there.
nice hotel and pleasant and friendly staff , nice breakfast, accessible, close to the historic district and train station, well maintained except for the bathroom sink that was mostly clogged , strongly recommend
