Great pet friendly vacation home!

Even better in person than in its pictures! Very comfortable attractive home with balconies on both floors. Quiet neighborhood. Clean & well kept, everything worked. Well stocked with dishes & cookware. We enjoyed walking our dogs around the lake. Halfway in between Durango & Silverton, there was a lot to do in both places. We'd be happy to stay here again!

Black Bear Beautiful

Wonderful well-appointed and set-up condo. Love that it is the 2nd street up from the highway (more quiet, although there is construction across Tourmaline). Little amenity kits were nice/thouhtful. Close to hikes (Purgatory Creek is two blocks down, and managed running path around the pond. Lot's of wildlife viewing in July - muskrats, ducks and ducklings, snakes, horned-lizards, many bird species, elk, deer, and bear. Striking distance to Molas Pass & lakes, and to Silverton. Much to do at Purgatory if you want a more "urban" experience. Great place to stay.

Great experience

We loved the condo it was beautiful. It did not have an ac but we found a fan and slept with the windows open. The only complaint, they were doing construction all week. We woke up to heavy machinery running early every morning.

We loved the area & view. It was furnished quite well. It was a bit warmer than expected & would have liked to have had air conditioning, but understood it isn’t usually common to be that warm & to require it. We enjoyed our stay. 😊

New Years delight!

We enjoyed spending five days at this property over New Years. The property was well kept, convenient and overall a great place for the six of us to stay. The snow was heavy so the free shuttle to/from Purgatory was great. It was the easiest way to travel. A few bummers...the trundle bedroom was quite small and the "hard water" causes a film on the dishes after each wash. A water softener throughout would be ideal. The pillows were a bit used and fairly thin...not much option. Otherwise, we have zero complaints and would definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great week.

It was good

No places to eat. 35 min to Durango. Every place we called was closed. There wasn't a good view from the deck. The dish washer needs to be cleaned. The dishes and silverware had to much calcium build up. Other then that it was a nice place to stay. The house was cozy.
