Advantages - nice conference rooms with perfect service - affordable price -unique terasse to the football pitch - nice serving of foods - but food is just in the average (but wide sort) from taste point of view - staff in the restaurant is extremely kind and nice Disadvantages - this is the second time when the early time receptionist are really unconcentred and unprofessional. This time the receptionist was unable to prepare an invoice and was not on the picture. Crazy strange, never experienced - is in the middle of nowhere - oitside everything is from concrete, very frustrating - no fitness no swim no wellness I reccomend only for business trips. For private this is neitjer nice nor for families.
I have booked the hotel room a month in advance for 5 nights. They immediately charged me 650 €. I was surprised but said ok. When I arrived they made a reservation again for another 50 € explaining it is for safety reasons... Then after 4 nights they reserved again 250€ without a notification. That is a completely unacceptable behaviour for any kind of guests either business or private. On the first night I asked for a Gin & Tonic at the bar. - The bar tender told me it was expensive. Then she continued if I really wanted it?! - I was like what the hell?! I didn't ask for a price but for a Gin with Tonic. - Then she asked me if I had a reservation on my credit card at the reception. This was simply rude and unacceptable. Cleanliness and food was good but as a conclusion I would not come here again and would never recommend it.
Hotel is fine is you're attending a conference in the complex or a game in the stadium. Close to the airport but not in a good location for Dusseldorf itself. Rooms and hotel are spotless but bedroom is extremely basic. I had 2 single beds and the furniture looks like it came from Bargain Town! Meanwhile I paid €16.50 for a G&T at the bar! Scandalous! They're like Ryanair, cheap flight/hotel but get you on the food and beverage!
This is a fairly simple hotel with nice clean rooms and friendly staff. The barkeeper however has never heard about a dry martini. The location is close to the congress center and directly at the soccer arena
I've been staying at the Tulip Inn these past 8 years, always visiting a specific business fair at the Messe held every January. Although not cheap, as indeed hotels would tend to be especially coinciding with business fairs - th Tulip Inn offers excellent amenities. Just 200m walking distance from the Messe is the biggest plus - and it is also an easy taxi ride away either to the city centre or from the airport. One comment is re wifi. I was disappointed that the quality of connection is very poor and often the system keeps saying 'too many users'. Can I suggest the hotel upgrades to proper fibre-optic to cater well for the demand. Otherwise all is top-notch.
i stood there on a Friday night following a match at the Arena. Price-Quality very reasonable and the location with safe parking just perfect. The restaurant and bar are also quite good. Same refers to the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect ending of a nice event.
Was there last week for Medica and extended for 3 more nights to explore dusseldorf and the surrounding, it s a good 3 stars, steps away from the expo, "inside" the stadium, room cleam with no toiletries you can have some from the reception, breakfast is good ( i should mention that during events the breakfast is better), nice lobby/bar, you need 15 min by metro to get to city centre
If you need to be on the fair for a number of days. Closest by hotel and good confort. Proffesional service; Normal quality restaurant, good bar and an excelent breakfast with a great choice. Even at very bussy moments the service is good.
Its a nice hotel. The room was big and the bed was comfy. I like everything. We had a coctail in the downstairs and the music and all appetizers were just perfect. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
Its like the NEC on steroids, I didn't stay as it's isolated on the arena complex. Very well furnished inside and well presented professional staff. However as with all these Hotel's when there is a conference/ convention on they put the prices up. 480 Euros for a meeting room and 129 Euros just for the use of a projector, rip off. Lunch in the restaurant was actually reasonable. Unless you want the buffet at a meer 39.95 Euros per head. However a massive cheese burger with salad and fries is only 14 Euros and was excellent. Oh and you only got 1 wifi code free, lol you get that free for everyone in Mcdonalds, a little out of touch I think..
