Memorable and meaningful experience. The room is spacious and elegant. . Great tasting food in Bloom restaurant. The staffs are courteous. For parents planning to bond with your kids, you must add I'm Hotel in your bucket list.
We had a lovely holiday at this hotel. The only things to spoil it was allowing men to eat in the restaurant wearing flip flops and shorts, and smoking at the table. This is after all a five star hotel.
As ever we had a lovely time. The hotel is beautiful in such a stunning setting. And of course the wonderful staff make it. It has become our special place. 6th stay. Thanks guys & girls. See you again soon. Toby & Fay Eves
We booked for three nights at the end of October in a double deluxe room. Every tiny aspect of the hotel from arriving was perfect. The room was large with a terrace and great view over the sea. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to use the outside sun loungers and hot tub. For cooler times there is an enormous inside jacuzzi. It’s hard to picture but the hotel is effectively on the face of a cliff which makes the lifts a bit unusual but you soon get used to them. Transport to the old town is cheap and convenient on the bus which stops nearby. The sea terrace is great, with a bar that does great small meals, and steps and ladders straight into the sea. All of the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do more for you. Special thanks must go to Becky who worked very hard at breakfast on the terrace and the restaurant in the evening. We had a wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant on our last night. I hope the management pass on or thanks to Becky as she was great. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and can’t wait to go back.
Me and my husband stayed here for our anniversary celebrations late September for 5 days- our 1st time in Croatia. On arrival we struggled to find our way around the hotel as it's in several different levels but soon found our way. The hotel is in Lapad- approx 10 minutes from Dubrovnik old town. We got a taxi one day and the bus another & both were no hassle or expensive. I would definitely recommend paying extra for a sea view room as these have been refurbished & have amazing views- we was offered it on booking but didn't take it up & regretted it on arrival. Breakfast is lovely- lots of choice and views are perfect from the outside area. Room we stayed in was small- but clean and ok for what we needed. The 2 restaurants are nice but quite expensive for the standard of food. The cave bar is fab- a real experience inside and out- food was lovely and reasonably priced. Something very special about sitting by the sea watching the sunset eating a delicious salmon salad- I won't forget in a hurry. All in all we had an amazing stay & Croatia is so beautiful with the old town an amazing experience. We would definitely stay here again but request a newer sea view room. Very found memories of a lovely hotel.
Beautiful hotel and the breakfast was really good. There was a good selection of breakfast food and local cheese, bread, fruit. The views were amazing from the restaurant and pool side and from our rooms. We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel More.
We have just returned after a week at this hotel. Everything positive, great location. Having breakfast on the terrace over looking the sea was a lovely start to each day. Beds and linens white as snow, changed daily. The staff were friendly and nothing to much trouble. Would highly recommend. Restaurant Eden and Atlantic Kitchen on the road behind hotel were both great.
We have just returned from a week in this fabulous hotel . We cannot fault the service and staff , nothing was too much trouble. A great location with amazing views and to have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay each morning was a bonus. Would have been nice to have had some complementary water in the room as we have had in similar hotels as it was expensive . However, all in all a brilliant week and we would definitely stay there again .
Good size family rooms, great service from All staff. Very thoughtful as they sent a birthday cake for a child in the family, excellent patisserie shop. Goran was particularly helpful in organising the island tour as well as other helpful suggestions. Only improvement we could suggest is more variety at the breakfast buffet
Having read a lot of reviews on hotels in this area, we decided on the Hotel More. We couldn’t of made a better choice. It was clean, the staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We booked a double room with balcony and sea view. The view was stunning. Breakfast was wonderful, so much choice. It was great to be able to have it outside on the terrace overlooking the sea. We ate in the Restaurant More on two nights. The food was outstanding, best beefsteak I have ever had. Service was good and prices not too bad when compared with other local restaurants. We booked through Jet2 holidays and I must say everything worked liked clockwork. We would definitely stay again if we visited the area again. To get to the Old City was very easy, just a short 10 minute walk to the bus stop ( number 6 bus ) 12 kuna each way. It is worth looking at getting a Dubrovnik card if you plan on walking the old city walls. It cost 190 kuna each, but to do the walls separately would cost you 150 kuna each, so with the bus fare and all the other museums included it is worth it. One tip, if you find steps difficult, walk to the end of the Main Street and go up on the far side, still steps, but not so many and not so steep. We took a glass bottom boat from the harbour for a 50 minute trip around the harbour, really enjoyed it. We stayed for 5 nights and only had rain on one morning. We can not recommend this hotel highly enough, I would say it is the best one I have ever stayed in.
