We had booked an extra night as our flight into Dubai was arriving at 5am and we wanted to be able to check in when we arrived at the hotel. Prior to arrival members of the team had sent me a few messages regarding check in time - at each occasion the info was supplied. The room was perfect and the view spectacular. Staff are very attentive. The room was clean. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the people in the next room when we were in the bathroom. You can also hear people in the hallway. We had a room on the second floor. The on site restaurants are nice with great quality food - but they are also very expensive.
The pool area is big. The grounds are beautiful. The spa was lovely. Villi was an excellent therapist. Spa facilities are good and clean.
We didn’t book our accommodation with breakfast but we did add it on when we checked in. On checkout our bill was incorrect as we were charged an additional day for breakfast - so check your bill. Keep a record of ur mini bar purchases as well. It just makes it easier on check out.
I chose this hotel because of the location on the palm, lovely beach, resort feel and the variety of restaurants and the spa. The Taj brand is synonymous with hospitality and it didn’t disappoint in terms of the staff’s attentiveness. Housekeeping and in room dining was very good.
