Friendliest staff ! Great view of burj khalifa and great rooftop pool and lounge

Everything about my stay was fantastic! The hotel was excellent, and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel was beautiful couldn’t ask for anything more. Staff was excellent would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Dubai.

Excellent service and great food.. People were friendly and would solve our problems immediately then would follow up just in case something is wrong.

I always try to stay in Shangri-La's while I am in Asia as the service is always top-notch. This was not very different from that. The staff is very kind, room very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The staff handled any issue we had with a great attitude and made us feel at home for our week long stay. I did not get her name however, both my girlfriend and I loved our conversation with your French intern. She always tried to help, asked about our days and was over all just super friendly.

During breakfast buffet, attendants were not attentive; had to ask for coffee and refill every time. Some approached their customers; some didn't. Flies were in the dining areas. The pool attendant was not too friendly either; although it's ok for me to pay for my guest, he was not hat customer-service friendly.

Hotel was great, but there was noise 7 am (hammer noise) until 9 am during our stay woke us up

Our 13 hour flight from NYC was well WORTH IT. After having a little trouble figuring out dollars to dirham for the cab driver we were graciously welcomed to Shangri La by the doorman and the receptionists. We arrived about 2pm and our rooms were ready which I couldn't be happier to be able to rest after such a long plane ride. The room was a good size for two, bed was comfortable but the BATHROOM was the best out of everything. The SHOWER was amazing; I'm a traveler who hates going in a hotel shower with no water pressure. This shower had a pressure knob that was able to go at a high intensity. My only COMPLAINT would be the rooms outlets. My boyfriend and I had to share 2 outlets that fit our US plugs which was quite FRUSTRATING. Charging phones, ironing, even trying to flat iron or curl my hair had to be done at the business desk where the only two plugs were. I wish the other outlets around the room were universal. Nonetheless, the cleaning staff came around twice a day which was great because my boyfriend slept in late so our room always had the chance to be cleaned in the afternoon when we missed them in the morning. They gave fresh fruit (apple, bananna, pear and orange) everyday and refilled the bathroom toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste ,nail file, shower etc.) every day also. The outside POOL WAS BEAUTIFUL and staff but I wish we were also able to try the indoor infinity pool for free (they charge extra). Overall the staff made my stay at Shangri La AMAZING!

We were only in Dubai for 24 hours, but were very happy with this hotel. The staff were all friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel was clean and contemporary, with multiple options for dining and drinks, and some great views of the city. It was in a convenient location, just a short taxi ride to the Dubai Mall where we connected with a tour bus and went up the Burj Khalifa. We would stay in another hotel of this brand.

I thought the hotel wasn't nice in the beginning but I was amazed when I saw the rooms and I am defiantly coming back here. it was close to everything
