The hotel has big enough rooms with spacious and very comfortable beds. There is a bottle of waters, tea, and coffee in room for free. Also, it's clean and close to the metro station and 24h open shops with food etc. Price is very satisfied. Definitely, recommend this hotel.
I believe this is a solid hotel at a fair price it has a few rust points around the room overall the hotel, nightclub and the surrounding parts are fine. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the price and convenience of being less than a ten minute ride from the airport.
Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Room was very good. Soundproof window with view of planes landing and traffic junction. Breakfast was also good. Best part was the hotel is in 5 minute walking distance to the Abu Baker Al Siddique metro station. We were able to explore Dubai via metro easily. Highly recommend the hotel.
Having stayed in over 50 different BW hotels around the world this has to be the worst. Room felt unclean from the moment i walked in, carpets where heavily stained and the room smelt musty and damp. Hairdryer was melted, the back of the iron fell off exposing wires and 50% of TV channels had no reception. On check in I asked if there was a minibar in the room, when i was told there was i had to then leave a cash deposit and would not let me use my card for pre-authorisation. However if i hadn't said anything the mini bar would still have been there in the room anyway without a deposit!!?? On checkout i was made to wait 10 minutes while they checked the items i had told them i had used. Never had this experience in any Best Western i have stayed in previously. I stayed here purely for proximity to airport and would recommend finding somewhere else.
A very convenient location hardly 200 mts from metro station, 24 x 7 supermarket nearby, cozy and spacious rooms, courteous staff, a cool bar inside the hotel for chilling out makes it a nice property to stay for mid budget travellers.
I book this hotel because it is not far from the airport and metro station is only 2mins walk. There is a grocery nearby too. The staff are also amazing, accommodating and always smile. They have a decent range of breakfast buffet and the lobby is good size too.
We were in a Superior room, which was clean, spacious and comfortable. A big bed, and a comfy mattress. Bathroom appeared to be somewhat dated, but was clean. However, the water temperature varied continually between hot and lukewarm. Impossible to set a constant temperature. There seems to be a fault with the water supply to the shower. Shame that the window was very dirty; though extremely well insulated – we could hear little noise from outside. We paid extra to have access to the Club Lounge. Unfortunately a group (who were not staying in the hotel, apparently; they had paid to use the lounge?) were conducting their business in there. The relaxing and quiet ambience was wrecked, thanks to conference calls – on speaker – on their mobile phones. We complained, and the staff asked them to be quiet. The snacks were more limited than our previous visits; the extra table that used to have a cheese board on it has gone. Had to ask for wine – they had forgotten to brink the drinks bottles out. Breakfast was a disaster. Most dishes are aimed at people from the Indian sub-continent – not to our western taste (had no idea what many dishes actually were!). Examples are rice, potato, congee, etc. All we had were baked beans (not very nice ones), chicken sausage, the egg station, bland and doughy pancakes, and fruit. There was a bread table – but there were not even any croissants! – mainly cake. The cups are small, and rather pointless for a decent breakfast drink (no teapots). When we had finished (and having seen people walking out with paper cups) I asked for a paper cup for a coffee. Wondered if I could take it to our room. The unpleasant and rude waiter told me that there are no paper cups, and it is not permitted to take drinks out. Then he turned and walked away, totally cutting me off. So I asked a waitress; she told me I could have one just to drink in the lobby. I agreed, so she gave me a paper cup. While I was getting my coffee, my wife saw the waiter berating the girl, accusing her because he said that I was taking it to the room. As agreed with the waitress, we sat in the comfortable armchairs in the lobby, and I drank my coffee. The waiting staff in the restaurant were miserable, unsmiling and not attentive. They ignored the customers needs. I was getting fruit – and a kitchen staff took the water melon plate away from under my nose! I had to patiently wait till he brought it back – at least I got fresh melon! Our complements to Annie at Reception. She was friendly, smiling, willing and very helpful. She listened carefully as we listed our complaints. Also Maria, who came to our room to follow-up on our issues at breakfast, and give us an apology. She too had a ready smile. These unfortunate experiences resulted in us cancelling a booking that we made for an extra night in December. Such a shame; we have stayed here several times over many years (since it was a Traders Hotel) and previously thoroughly enjoyed it. Standards have seriously slipped.
Bookd thru booking.com, v bookd 2 rooms but could not get thm on the same floor but it wasnt that bad infact the hotel was more thn i expcted "cheers" i will recomnd this hotel and would love to stay again if get a chance, FDS is very healpful and friendly keep it up guys
I stayed for two nights in Executive room. The hotel is located in a good locality not far from main attractions and equal distance from terminal 1 as well as terminal 2. Metro station is less than 50 meters from hotel. Staffs were polite and nice. Food was also good. Room was quite spacious with all facilities. At the time of check in as well as check out they took littel more time. Apart from that, everthing was good.
I travel quite a bit and I have never stayed Best Western, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in great location, 10 min from the airport, close to metro station and shopping areas. Upon arrival it was seamless checking and I was upgraded to higher floor non-smoking where my room was quite, clean and comfortable. Had city view. Excellent staff, pleasant and knowledgeable. The hotel has good amenities gym, sauna, pool etc. I would definitely come back....
