Everyone I spoke to , starting from ones who answered my calls before arrival , the ones in the reception and the ones who answered gust service in the hotel and restaurant in the hotel were kind of rude and not helpful with lots of delay to answer me treating me badly. The only one who helped and let me stay is Mr Haytham who was caring and polite. I enjoyed the location of the hotel which is close to the Mall of the Emirates I was unhappy about the spa as there was a massage chair that I sat on and they came with an angry face asking me not to use it as it is chargable and not included with the sauna and Jacuzzi. Overall rooms were OK , food was ok with no much options and variety, services and reception was not that good and the willingness to help in occasions celebrations is lacking.

We travelled there for New year vacations and spent 6 days there. Really good hotel. A spacious stylish room with a great bed, large bathroom with everything you need, tea/coffee set with a regular supply of tea and coffee. Great breakfast with a wonderful variety of hot and cold dishes. Everything very clean. It's a short walk to the mall of Emirates. There are some grocery shops nearby. On the downside we couldn't have an early check in. It was a bit crowded at breakfast in the mornings. Windows do not open. It's impossible to have a comfortable water temperature in the shower it's either boiling hot or freezing cold. Towels are disappearing, after every cleaning we had one towel less, so we ended up with just 2 shower towers by the end of the stay:-). Speaking about the New Year party it was ok, nothing special, dinner was a buffet, not ala carte, naturally no alcohol. They also served some appetizers on the roof terrace, music played there and nothing more happened. As for the fireworks there was not much to be seen, since the hotel is very far away from Burj Khalifa or Burj al Arab or Marina (major fireworks spots), if you have a chance go those spots. One more important thing about Dubai it's very stretched, there are miles and miles between major attractions and the city is designed for car owners not pedestrians or cyclists.

Stayed here for 5 nights, great location, very friendly staff who allowed late check out no extra cost, room's cleaned 24 hrs a day if wanted. Very comfy bed and lovely room. Rooftop pool is a sun trap!!

The hotel has great location - 2 min walking from mall of emirates, including waiting at the traffic lights, and 40 min from the Maktum airport. Reception is very helpful, even when busy. Friendly staff, excellent food! Roof swimming pool, not busy. Yes, there is construction around, but that is everywhere in Dubai, so it's normal. A bit confusing remote for the lights, but it's fun to play with it. Souvenirs for sale - a bit pricey, but they offered discounts! Delicious food served almost all day long! Very pleasant place, really enjoyed it!

Had a great one night stay here. Staff was extremely friendly during what must of been an extremely busy time for them. Food was top quality gourmet, absolutely amazing. Hats off to the chefs. Thank you very much.

good modern furnished rooms with excellent bathroom. close to mall of the emirates and a good buffet breakfast. staff are okay depends on who you speak to. nice pool but in full sun so take care. shuttle bus to the airports including the new DWC in Jebel ali.

Firstly I would like to start this review by pointing out it is NOT a 5 star hotel! The hotel itself is nice enough and clean but stains on carpets and small holes in bed sheets and towels does not represent a 5 star hotel in my opinion! What really ruined our stay here was the disgusting treatment that we received from management and the concierge! We had planned a 6 night trip months in advance and although we have visited Dubai before this was the first with our baby who is a year old so naturally it was going to be a different experience. I emailed the hotel requesting airport transfers and asked them if there was any chance they could supply a car seat suitable for a one year old as I didn't want to bring our own very expensive one from home to be bashed about at the airport and to be fair the only time we needed it would be to and from the airport since we use the metro to travel around Dubai itself. The hotel responded that this wouldn't be a problem and sent me confirmation that this had all been arranged. However when we arrived and were greeted by a man that escorted us to our car we found that they hadn't sent a car seat! So after a 3 hour drive to the airport followed by a 7 hour flight we were somewhat annoyed by this!!! The man they sent to pick us up then called the hotel and they then said it would be another hour before they could send a car with a baby seat! I then stated to cry as we were tired/hungry and naturally by this point my baby just wanted to go to sleep and was screaming! The law states in the Dubai that it is not compulsory for car seats to be used however it is recommended. There is no way I would drive in England with my child not in a car seat so why on earth would I do it in a foreign country were they drive like lunatics just because it isn't "compulsory"?! When the car eventually turned up they had a battered car seat that had not been fitted and was group 0 car seat so suitable for a new born up to approximately 9 months! There was no way we could squeeze our baby in to this seat and the driver didn't even have any idea how to fit it!!! By this point we were absolutely exhausted and had no choice but to go back to the hotel with our baby on our lap! I cried the entire 25 minute journey on the busy 5 lane road watching cars drive frantically beeping horns and cutting in and out of lanes! When we arrived at the hotel we asked immediately to speak to the manager who despite me being very upset and my partner being very angry couldn't seem to care less about the mix up and all he could say was I will "investigate" this! My partner then got really quite cross and asked him if he had children himself and how he would feel if he were us and he said he would go mad! But still there didn't seem to be any understanding, he just treated it like we were trying to get stuff for free out of them and asked us what it is we wanted... a free dinner? A room upgrade? He was just totally missing the point! We did get an upgrade on our room but quite frankly I couldn't care less about an upgraded room! I care about the safety of my child who's life I had just risked by driving to that hotel cradling him on my lap! If we had crashed he would have either been crushed or sent flying through the windscreen! There are more accidents there than there are in the west and their law on car seats for children is utter madness in my opinion! The head concierge chap who is probably the rudest most arrogant person I have ever met also got involved and just laughed in our faces when we were explaining why we wanted a car seat for our baby! The point is i had emailed this hotel months in advance and they assured me they would be sending a car with a baby seat and they didn't!!! I had every email on my phone backing this up and even showed it to the head concierge chap who still didn't apologise and just stood there and argued with us!!! I will NEVER stay at this hotel again! Dubai is known for its excellent customer service and fantastic hospitality but we didn't receive that here at the Auris Plaza! We were instead mocked for wanting to protect our child! I do have to mention that the restaurant staff along with house keeping were very friendly though!

We stayed here for 6 nights. Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Bed was extremely comfortable and rooftop pool was fab. We used the metro a lot to get around with the station being in the nearby mall Breakfast was tasty with a good choice of foods

My views; 1)This is not a 5 star hotel. I would call it a 3-4 star hotel. 2)Bathrooms are clean but dated and room carpets have not been updated and have stains on them 3)Mall of emirates is close by but not an easy walk in the heat with kids 4)Valet parking for rental cars is a mess. There is no room to park your car for the valet driver to pick it up as the small space is always full of cars. 5)The check in process is slow. The front desk staff are not very courteous and should be mindful of the line. People tend to skip the line to see the front desk staff and the staff don't care. 6)Be prepared to drive 30 minutes to the mall of dubai 7)The roof top pool is small but good. 8)There is construction going on on the side of the hotel so try to avoid getting a room facing the construction site.

Most pathetic and disgraceful service starting at front desk by receptionist Nadia. She should not be there for bad repute and the first impression at the hotel, which actually dont deserve. First impression is the last impression to convince to come back.
