White Birch Cabin - Johnswood Off Grid Cabins on Drummond Island

White Birch Cabin is part of the Johnswood Off-Grid Cabins collection—a simple, comfortable tiny home designed for those who want more than a campsite but less than a full house. This “improved tent” sleeps up to 6 guests and offers a fun, laid-back way to unplug and enjoy the outdoors.

The cabin includes the essentials for a cozy stay: a charcoal grill, front porch seating, a small indoor table with chairs, battery-operated lanterns, bedding, a propane wall heater, and a private Porta-John. Please plan to bring your own water, towels, coolers, camp chairs, charcoal, and any additional gear needed for cooking and washing up.

Traveling with friends? Henry’s Cabin next door can accommodate up to 4 additional guests. You can book both together under our “Henry’s & White Birch Cabins – Johnswood Off-Grid Cabins on Drummond Island” listing. The site can also accommodate one RV (no water or electricity)—just ask for details if you’d like to bring one along.

Tucked just off Johnswood Road, White Birch Cabin is perfectly located for outdoor adventure. Dickenson Lake is nearby for fishing and kayaking, and hundreds of acres of State land are right at your doorstep for hunting and exploring. You’re also less than half a mile from Kreetan/Glen Cove Road, connecting you to over 60 miles of ATV and ORV trails. And when it’s time to cool off, Big Shoal Beach—a local favorite for swimming and kayaking—is just down the road.
