The hotel is very good choice as for a long stay and for a short. The rooms are clean and good equiped. The bathroom is very big and comfortable as for 3* express hotel. Breakfast have all that you need, and the big plus that on weekends they extend time till 11-30.We had 2 rooms on the 6th floor overlooking the squre with church - marvelous view:) The only minus is that they do not provide slippers.
My husband and I spent several nights at the Holiday Inn while we were in Dresden to visit the Christmas Markets. Great service- very friendly staff. Breakfast (included with our stay) was good. Centrally located. We would stay there again.
Great location. Tidy clean rooms. Queues very long at check in but staff very helpful indeed. Breakfast was standard and not so special. Near to trams and 5 mins tomain station and 1 min to historical centre.
We love visiting Christmas markets in different cities each year and our choice this year was Dresden. The hotel is located very strategically, very close distance from the Dresdner Striezelmarkt and the Frauenkirche where there was another Christmas market. At the opposite of the hotel it was the shopping streets and another Christmas market, and just walking distance from the main station. The sightseeing double decker bus is just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was good and plentiful, however there wasn't any warm stuffs like scrambled eggs or sausages etc besides the boiled eggs, therefore I have it 4 stars instead of 5. We were in room 613 which has a great view (see picture attached). The room was a bit small but it served its purpose. We were almost out the whole day anyway.
First time visit to Dresden and I used TA to find a centrally located hotel for 1 night. This hotel was very close to the main train station, easily walked in December with pull luggage. Very close to Altmarkt Christmas Market and others. Very easy walk with lots of shopping, pubs and restaurants along the way. Great location for many of the main sites, too. We were 4 adults so based on the photos posted and description, I booked 2 rooms, each with 2 twin beds. Was offered French double but twins seemed more reliable. The room was comfortably sized. Modern bathroom with excellent shower. TV, electric kettle, coffee and tea. Wi-Fi was terrible. Very quiet room. First floor so we used the very clean stairs to the lobby. Large lobby with seating. Breakfast included - cereal, breads, ham, salami, cheeses.
i spend 3 days here room was clean.this hotel is in the center so just in 2-3 min walk anybody can reach to the shopping mall or old town.which is the plus point of this hotel😀.but i was big disappointed 😞with the breakfast 🥐🥩which was offerd by the hotel.for veggies🥦 there are not so much options.my collegue was a veggi so he was disappointed too.overall this hotel is nice if you just want to be in the center. If you spend sunday in Dresden then be aware that all the shopes & malls are closed on Sunday😒.
I would like to recommend you this hotel, due to the low price, nice looking and friendly stuff. The room was small, but clean and modern...I have got just 2 bad things, first very very bad wifi connection and very pure breakfast. This type of hotel, need to have better breakfast then just only basic morning thinks. If you spent time in Dresden, just let it book.
The hotel is right in the city center. Train and bus station are very close to the hotel and tram station is just in front of it. There is a big shopping center with many shops and different food choices next to the hotel. Room is very clean and staff is excellent. Breakfast is quite well, clean and healthy. They serve free wi-fi. Heating is working well. No sound from outside. No steps from entrance to lobby or to the elevator and rooms. We have stayed two times in a week for our trip from Prague to Berlin and return way. We choose to stay here instead of Prague for our flight back. You can visit all historic places by walking around the hotel. I recommend to visit Großer Garden in Dresden by taking tram in front of the hotel. Christmas fair is just behind the hotel but we could only see the preparations in November.
It was OK to stay one night. Rooms are nice and clear. Breakfast was relatively simple and very crowded. During out last day I was surprised by cleaning service at 9am asking me to leave the room. I understood, my stay was supposed to be granted till 11am.
We loved our stay at this hotel. The hotel is right in the city center which is very convenient to visit many monuments in the city. It is 1 minute of walk from one of the Hop on hop of bus station. Many restaurants from european to asian styles andshopping centers are in 2-5 minutes of walking distance. If you come to Dresden by train you can also walk from the train station to the hotel. The breakfast offer was excellent. The hotel staffs were very nice and gave us all the information for our visit in the city. Thank you !
