Soothing hotel, pool and excellent cuisine.

Lovely relaxed place with very good menu. You must speak French - they do not answer emails in English! Taxis from Les Arcs or Le Luc train station if you have not car. Lovely trips nearby to Le Thoronet Abbey, and to Lorgue market town; and walk around Le Thoronet village.

Lovely Modernised old Abbey

It is a convenient stop just of the beaten track, in a lovely location, the reception staff and bar/restaurant were all very helpful considering the language barrier. The rooms are very clean, the shower room is modern and clean. It is in a nice quiet area with picturesque walks, ideal for a relaxing stay, lovely dining and pool area, with a beautiful outside area to take drinks or food as well as the inside/outside restaurant, there are shops only 5 minutes away. The food was all very well presented and very tasteful, typical of good french cuisine. I shall be returning.

A quiet hotel in the country....

l'Abbaye was better than I expected after reading other reviews. It is a fairly modern building lacking rustic character, but it is well located in a quiet lane away from the main road. The staff are friendly, very efficient and generally speak English. Our room was a bit small with basic fittings but very clean. Wifi strength in the bedroom was poor and kept dropping out, but it's OK in the reception area. The restaurant is excellent and clearly popular with locals. The breakfast selection is also good - better than many similarly priced hotels. Overall, I liked this hotel and would happily return. Le Thoronet itself is somewhat limited and can be explored in 10 minutes, but its a well located base to explore the Region.

Hôtel agréable et très calme avec une agréable piscine partiellement ombragée par un espace boisé. Chambres petites et sans balcon mais confortables pour une nuit ou deux.

Le séjour passé dans l'hostellerie nous avons eu un chauffage d'appoint électrique un peu juste en cette saison du fait que dans la salle d'eau le chauffage ne marchait pas. l'endroit était très calme

Accueil très froid et bâclé, abords de piscine pas entretenus: portillon d’accès piscine cassé (très moyen vu les normes de sécurité en vigueur), l’échelle fixée sur deux dalles qui se décrochent du sol sous le poids d’un enfant de 7 ans!! Je pense que le « 3 étoiles » est simplement justifié par la piscine qui d’ailleurs n’est pas chauffée! Vraiment décevant

Trop cher pour le service proposé

110€ pour un lit 140 ( alors qu’à la maison nous avons un 180) la clim inutilisable car elle été au sol pas en hauteur , pas de canal plus ( et oui car d’en beaucoup d hôtel moins cher il y a canal plus ) ne parlons même du bruit quand quelqu’un ouvre un robinet ! Sa nous a réveiller avant 9h ( comme si des travaux été devant la fenêtre , enfin le cadre entier est pas mal , je n’ai pas profiter de la piscine , mais il devrais être nettement amélioré il serais top ( pas grand choses à faire dans les alentour )
