Set across three levels, Lakehouse Annecy is an exceptional abode that effortlessly balances comfort and style. The ground floor features a sleek American-style kitchen open-plan to the large living-dining area, with large windows framing the incredible vistas. A separate TV lounge is a welcome respite after a busy day exploring, whilst table football and ping-pong will keep all ages entertained.
Lakehouse Annecy hosts up to 15 guests across nine beautifully appointed bedrooms, eight of which feature air-conditioning. Some of our favourites include the three bedrooms in the ground-floor family wing, or fall in love with the three first-floor double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, TVs and wonderful views. At the top of the house, a superb studio bedroom, complete with kitchenette, lounge and a gorgeous open bathroom, provides an ideal sanctuary for couples or those seeking added privacy. Outdoors, it’s simply idyllic as you relax on the generous terrace and lawn that lead directly to the lake’s edge. Spend sunny days lounging on sun loungers beside the water’s edge, paddleboarding from the pontoon or dining al-fresco at one of the two spacious outdoor settings, with barbecue and chilled wine at the ready. In cooler months, the newly added wood-fired hot tub ensures warmth and relaxation. Just 16km by bike or car from Annecy, known as the Venice of the Alps, this southern lakeside setting is ideal year-round. Bordering both the lake and river, there is a pontoon for lake access and a mooring buoy can be hired (on request, at an additional cost). Just set back from the main road and close to the Bout du Lac Nature Reserve, this stunning abode offers natural beauty without sacrificing convenience, placing an abundance of lakeside leisure just moments away.
Just a short stroll away, two seasonal watersports clubs offer wakeboarding, windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and sailing. For those who prefer land-based pursuits, tennis courts can be found opposite a nearby summer campsite, while the lakeside voie verte cycle path, directly across from the villa, provides 42 kilometres of superb riding through stunning scenery (mainly car-free, especially along the western shores). For more serious cyclists, the surrounding cols (frequent stages of the Tour de France) promise exhilarating climbs and epic views.
The area is a paradise for adventure-seekers. Lake Annecy is world-famous for paragliding, with local operators offering tandem flights and courses from La Forclaz and Planfait, landing nearby in Doussard. The location was perfect right on the lake. The children enjoyed the kayaks very much and we rented a boat to go to restaurants. A family boules tournament was great fun.
The house was perfect downstairs with plenty of rooms and amenities. The bedrooms could do with some blackout blinds or shutters and the downstairs bedrooms had blinds that ended six inches from the bottom of the window meaning the people in those bedrooms woke up early.

Mother's Dream Come true!
Words will never be enough to describe this beautiful house and the experience one goes through staying in it - what a fabulous experience it has given me and my entire family for three whole weeks this summer. I celebrated my 75th birthday and had my entire family - three children and their spouses and 8 grandchldren - all 15 of us - staying in this fabulous house - it was a mother's dream come true!

Stunning location
A wonderful property for a large family holiday. No pool! but who cares when you have the whole of Lake Annecy at the end of the garden which is even better. Evening meals on the deck with the sun setting over the lake were fantastic. The house was well equipped and managed to combine luxury with a homely feel. One slight frustration was the air conditioning did not extend to the top floor, I am sure the owners will be addressing this. Great for cycling - a large secure garage to store bikes and some wonderful cycle paths and cols to explore. The local area offers lots to do. The photos on the website look great, but the reality is significantly better.

Stunning property and surroundings
We spent Christmas and New Year with a large group of family and friends at the Lakehouse. The property is perfect, the open plan layout is great for a larger group, and the separate TV room and additional smaller living room make it possible to get some quiet time if needed. The bathrooms are modern, and the girls all commented on the super soft bed linen! The Agents Claude and Michelle were extremely supportive right from the start, and ensured all questions were answered, the Christmas Turkey ordered, and even put up a Christmas tree for us. The nearby skiing resort La Clusaz is great, and suitable for beginners as well as experienced skiers'. We are definitely looking forward to coming back.
