We were very pleased with our stay.

The house had lots of character yet was comfortable and cosy. We enjoyed using the fire to keep cosy in the evenings. We really liked that it was dog friendly, including the dog bowls provided. Overall we had a lovely stay, would definitely recommend and are looking at booking again in the future!

Lovely stay in a coosy town in a great house

The combination of the house (which is very compleet and comfortable) and location in center of Dolgellau is great. We really enjoyed our stay. Just 1 tip, we had great sunny weather so would be great to also put some outside furniture on the terrace or in the garden.

Loved the hall when you walked in, so welcoming. We had beautiful weather on our walk. Lovely town, everybody was very friendly. Loved the fireplace, very cosy and warm. All in all a wonderful house with lovely decor and an amazing town.

Our Favourite Place We Have Ever Stayed!

This was one of our favourite places we've ever stayed! We were her with out 4 kids (aged 14, 12, 10 and 8) and we enjoyed the space so very much! Kids played many rounds on the football tables and we loved walking through town. Thanks for sharing your lovely home. -

Beautiful house in a great location

Great location in a beautiful town. The house was very clean, kitchen facilities were good and lovely original features. Lots of walking on your doorstep. We would have liked garden furniture. we had beautiful weather with nowhere to sit outside, which was a shame.

A really nice big property with lots of character.

Dolgellau is a great location with lots to do. Hope House sits right in the centre of the town giving great access to all the different pubs, restaurants, cafes & shops. Plenty of walking out the door, up into the hills and woods. Cycling is great, with bigger walking challenges not far away at all. A perfect house to come back to after a good day out.

A fabulous house!

Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous house - spotlessly clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. We loved snuggling up in front of the wood-burner after a long day out and about. Dougie especially loved the table football!

Beautiful home, much larger than expected

Beautiful home, much larger than expected. Great location. Everything we hoped for. The house was very clean and the essentials (tea, milk, olive oil, sugar etc) already stocked in the kitchen. Would have been nice to have a radio downstairs in the kitchen as it&#39s quite isolated from the rest of the house.

Ty Gobaith is in an ideal location

Ty Gobaith is in an ideal location in the town, a couple of minutes walk from the main square where there are several cafe's, pubs and a highly recommended bakery, DD's. Other coffee shops are also very good. The town is in Southern Snowdonia which is quieter, there are plenty of interesting places to visit, lots of extreme sports and fantastic walking. The house had everything we required to make our stay comfortable. Apart from the bakery, we would recommend The Torrent where the staff were friendly and welcoming, good selection of local ales and lovely food at reasonable prices. We'll be back……
