Light bulb out in Rm 205. Ceiling tile needs changing. Sink faucet flow is not good. Shower floor is worn. Hot tub in room rocked though! Rest was great.

Spacious room friendly staff and maid service. Hotel is old and can use some updating

Indoor pool and other gaming equipment. The room was clean, the staff very helpful and friendly. The facility is very old and worn. Would be good if carpet in rooms were removed and hard floor installed. The owner may not realize how many germs are in the carpets, I kept my house shoes on. All in all the stay was good.

Liked everything, only problem, no ice machine. Thank yoy

I liked all the amenities that it offers. Due to the Covid we didn’t get to do any of them. The sink in our room was clogged and the toilet ran all night. Other than that it was a descent hotel.

It's a quaint place, 1950's western style. The entire place smelled like the pool and cigarettes. My room was clean, but 40 years old. The toilet didn't fill, so I used the ice bucket. I didn't try to switch. The mini fridge was top notch though. New, and with a freezer. The staff was nice enough, but like the property, just very tired.

Check in went well. Then we were informed they had quit serving breakfast with the room stay earlier in February. Not happy about that! Their is a couple of huge cracks in the door to the atrium that looks bad. Our room was dated but ok. The beds were very comfortable. We were out all day and come back late night to no housekeeping service whatsoever. They took our used towels but no replacements, no made beds, no trash emptied. And we had not put a do not disturb sign out. Wasn't happy as it was late and we had to go get towels, coffee, etc. Front desk help was very nice, but I am just not sure we will be back to this one. In it's heyday, it was the place to stay, but their has been no money spent on upkeep, and to take away the breakfast and coffee for the guests is just not great service. The atrium was nice and the pool looked inviting, though.

It's a dated hotel which seems to not had upgrades in a while. The room was clean and comfortable. Tge only real complaint i had was the breakfast area. It was cramped and the juice dispenser was not working. The only drink availability was coffee.

Very dated, Lighting in room and hallway very dim.

The availability and cleanliness was more then what I expected for the price . And the younger blond that works the desk is always sweet and so kind ! I stay in Dodge city a few times a week and I’ll be sure to be back !

I am sure that back in the day that the Dodge House was one of the most elite establishments in Dodge City, but now, it is in need of some repair and is quite dated. The lobby is nice but it was so hot and the pool was green and in need of a good cleaning. The staff was very nice and the price per night reasonable. My husband and I did not have the breakfast that was offered so I can not comment on that. We loved our time in Dodge City even if we were not so happy with our acommadations.

Extremely run down. No updates or upkeep in any recent years. Hole in ceiling of the room. Dome was in very poor shape - from ceiling coming off in multiple places to the green pool and spa and the horrific humidity in there it wasn't an area where you can spend time.

There is plenty that is unique. And, not in a good way. The construction--rooms around a shared space with children's play area and pool--means the rooms are noisy until 10 pm. Basketball outside your window, anyone? Also unique are the large strips of paint peeling of the ceiling there. The bath & toilet are new & fine, but our room had no extra blankets other than one thin one on the bed for a night below freezing. The lights in the room didn't all work, either. If the people who own the place will fix it, it's worth staying in because it appears to be independently owned.

What was unique? How about the paint falling off the ceiling in the shared spaces? Or the lack of extra blankets on a night where the temperature fell below 32 degrees? (The heaters work only marginally.) The picture on your site doesn't do it justice; it is pretty awful.

Pros: Free coffee Air conditioner works Staff was very nice and accommodating Didn’t have time to check out the saloon or restaurant, but those definitely added a uniqueness Cons: We did not receive pillowcases or a comforter, but we checked in early so that may have been a factor A few bugs in the bathroom (just June bugs but still) High humidity in the room as well as the dome Shower did not drain effectively. Quality of fixtures/doors/carpeting/etc. is subpar Overall We only stayed for one night, and if we had stayed for longer I am sure the hotel staff would have addressed some of our complaints. But the price we paid ultimately was not worth our time at the Dodge House. There was probably a time when it was quality and a must-see, but that time has passed.

With a few small exceptions, we had a very pleasant stay. The room was definitely a value for the price. We were told that the facility is under new management and that might explain some older reviews that make it sound like a dump. It is not a new facility, but there has been a lot of effort to upgrade it and make it a good place to stay.

I couldn't believe how dirty the room was, the hotel keys from the last customer were still sitting on the table. The shower was disgusting. I opened the blinds and saw my window was cracked, fixed with cardboard and tape, my view was a broken down semi truck trailer and trash. I didn't feel comfortable without my shoes on, and I dreamed of bed bugs, although I think I got out of there un-infected by them... it was pretty gross. I can't see it lasting much longer.
