Highly recommended, very good value for the price. Even the standard rooms are spacey and clean, perfect beds, friendly service and an excellent breakfast, not fancy but good! Try to get prices inclusive breakfast and rooms on the opposite side of the highway. When Diplomats arrive, the police blocks the road and you can wait!
I spent two nights at the hotel. The room were comfortable. However the front desk, gym, and room service operations are poorly managed. I am highly unlikely to recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to the region
We stopped very late for our stay, with an early morning departure. The staff were courteous and prompt, and this was very much appreciated as we were trying to maximize our time spent sleeping. The room was a bit Spartan, but we didn't need anything special, and besides, the beds were comfortable. It was a good stay.
The most important thing i was looking for is safety and being in a place where foreigner and city visitors are there. The place is very popular for business travelor so staff are trained and know how to deal with business needs The only drawback is the elevators system are complicated and time consuming specially when u first use it. It took me several minutes and i reached tired after the lomg airport experience so i recommend to have someone near by elevators to help customers.
I have to say this hotel completely surprised me and that is a good thing. Staff was super friendly, room was very comfortable and the wifi actually worked. It was peaceful, I got to prepare for my conference as well. Since we were hosting a conference there Mr. Abbasi Sayeed was phenomenal in his arrangements. Conference was delivered as per our expectations and his courtesy was probably the best I've encountered across this region. Simply put I would highly recommend this place for a great nights rest and for hosting a business conference as well. I can't forget the front desk staff either who were super helpful and the restaurant staff as well. You won't be disappointed.
I was on business trip since late of June. Everything was acceptable to a certain level. In late of August, I requested up to date bill. I was shocked the hotel added mini-bar fees. I never used it. Not only one or two, It was three times and one of them exceeded 50 Riyals! I asked the gentleman in the reception about it? He replied "It must be a mistake, I will take it out." I replied "a mistake is a once or maybe twice but not three times. it looks like it was added intentionally." I requested from the gentleman to investigate this issue because removing those fees are not enough because it is now a trust issue with the hotel, I cannot trust them. 2 days the manager called me and he said it was added by mistake. He said he will investigate and never came back to me. my suggestion is if you are checking in for a long stay, be careful and review laundry/ daily rate/ food everything. I was working for 12-16 hours daily I didn't have the time to go through that.
The room that was assigned to us was on the far end facing the Diplomatic Quarter. It was a small room but definitely a great one. The comfort room was huge with even a bath tub on it. the room was just great and the feels was even better. We tried to have a coffee on the Starbucks which is located at the Ground Floor Lobby. We decided to stay outside since it was not that hot at around 7-8 pm. The staff were very accommodating from the reception to the room service, to the coffee server and the guys who gave us the extra bed. Definitely a place to stay if you wanted to relax. Next time we'll try their indoor floor at the Fourth Floor. Thanks Courtyard by Marriott Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter for such a wonderful night!
As a guest I would like to add our thanks to Abdulaziz because he smiles at us and performs things with accuracy and smoothness. Finally, the Courtyard Hotel is an excellent place and service is above expectations and thanks to the little Abdul Aziz for giving my son a little attention and giving him sweets. Also good English overthere Thanks courtyard Marriott Bill Odanal
