Loved our stay at Sundog Cottage. It was a short walk to the beach and had everything we needed for our getaway. The host was wonderful, communication was great, and so accommodating! Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at Sundog Cottage and we can’t wait to come back again! Our host Valerie was very welcoming and helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the little touches like treats left for our dogs and little mint chocolates left on the bedside table that made our stay extra special. The town of Dillon Beach itself is super cute and we loved walking through the neighborhood to get down to the beach. Unfortunately the restaurant in town was closed during our stay, but we got some great food at the general store by the beach for snacks and dinner. The highlight for our dogs was, of course, the beach, and they had such a great time running and playing for our morning and sunset walks!

What a delightful time we had at this charming home at Dillard Beach! Our Host, Valerie, was so attentive and answered our questions so quickly! We slept on comfortable beds with the nicest sheets I’ve ever slept on! Two of my adult daughters went with me to have a Crafting weekend, and had such a wonderful time together!! All three of us want to go back next year and do it all over again!!

The property was wonderful. The Sundog cottage is adorable with all the amenities needed for a great stay with kids and pets. As an added bonus the property is close to the beach which is just a short walk away and the beach is dog friendly.

Lovely long weekend at Dillon Beach. The Sunday cottage was conveniently located, clean and well appointed. We loved the afternoon sun on the front porch and the overall zen energy of the place. It was very dog friendly, and Olive the corgi enjoyed her stay as well. Valerie was a practice communicator and her helpful. We would definitely stay again!

We had such a great stay at Sundog! The house is super cozy, clean and bright, and has everything you need. I LOVE that the kitchen is stocked with essentials (like olive oil and coffee!). Valerie was an incredible host, communicated with us about everything, and even left surprises for our kids a dog! The location is fantastic - easy walk to the beach and the store. This is one of our favorite vacation spots. Our dog loves the off-leash beach and dog-friendly culture and our kids are either in the dunes or in the water. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Valerie was great! Very welcoming and communicative. The place was a perfect cozy weekend. We could hear the waves and the cows most nights, along with the resident owl. Our dog sure was inquisitive about all the deer and turkeys. We would definitely come back if we are back in the area!

I thoroughly enjoyed a weekend stay at Sundog Cottage with my brother, sister-in-law, niece and both our dogs in early October! Valerie left the cutest & thoughtful selection of welcome goodies for my niece and dog toys for the pups. With a fully equipped kitchen, we enjoyed the ability to prepare dinners in - BBQ hamburgers one night & grilled shrimp tacos the next. The pups appreciated the fully secured & safe back patio for fresh air, potty duties & taking in all the scents of prior visitors. With comfortable & cozy beds and linens, restful sleep was enjoyed by all! On our last evening we took in a beatiful bonfire sunset on the beach with a healthy dose of s’mores! A first for my niece. Overall, with the comforts of Sundog, special moments and many memories were made with my brother & his family. I highly recommend the Sundog Cottage and I look forward to visiting again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sundog Cottage! It was very clean, cozy & comfortable. A huge plus in my book is that it is so dog friendly! With a secured backyard & the ability to secure the front deck, it cut a lot of worries when having a 4-legged companion along for the trip. We were welcomed w/sweet touches upon arrival… garden bouquet of flowers on the kitchen island, beautifully bright marigolds throughout the cottage, local goat cheese & butter (which was perfect since I had forgotten mine at home!) & farm fresh eggs. I loved that we could make a meal “at home” yet also be able to take a nice walk to the Coastal Kitchen for a meal, followed by a Salted Caramel Soft Serve Cone at the general store. It’s a nice walk down to the beach, especially if you walk thru the neighborhood! Everyone we met was so welcoming & friendly. My pup & I enjoyed our morning walks together ea morning after grabbing coffee at the general store. I’d highly recommend a stay at Sundog Cottage and we thank, Valerie for making our stay so comfortable! We will definitely be back!
