Stayed at this hotel recently for a single night with a colleague. This is the 3rd time in 4 months I have stayed here. Always find a place in car park, check in is fast and efficient, very warm and friendly welcome from Nicki. Room is large clean and everythin worked as it should bed was comfortable. Food in the restaurant is good for this type of hotel and the menu has a reasonable variety. There is an issue getting a drink in the restaurant every time I have used it I have waited aaaan unreasonably long time, similar issue in the bar it appears a little under staffed. There are parts of the hotel that are a little tierd but overall this is a good quality, good value hotel and the good nature and friendly staff keep me going back. There is a lot of road works going on around the hotel and the normal access has been closed for a few months, so an extended trip around the back is required. There is no noise from the road works at night but pnuematic drills can be heard from around 08.00. Dont let this put you off an overnight stay it really isnt a problem but I thought I ought to mention it.
This place is overpriced , the restaurant is appalling can't wait too get out of here! It's right next too a noisy road & busy hospital my window will not close properly after asking 3 times for someone too fix it I gave up & bought some ear plugs AVOID!!!!!!
Fantastic place to stay - very convenient location, helpful friendly staff, great family room with two very comfortable queen size beds and a lovely, very clean en-suite. Booked at last minute with a reduced price on room-rate. Breakfast not included but well worth the extra expense - lovely restaurant area and a great choice of hot and cold food and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book again if travelling in the area in the future.,
Booked fairly late so it was the only reasonable hotel that could accommodate our dates . Trip worked really well hotel clean and welcoming. Car parking was easy and a real benefit. Only drawback was the breakfast on the Sunday , too few staff for the number of guests so waits very long and buffet arriving in stages . Was told this was common on a Sunday.
A modern hotel with room in rooms. Friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable beds and a very good breakfast. Restaurant on site. Well positioned for access to all thelocal attractions. Diversion due to road works is well signposted.
Lovely rooms, big comfortable beds with everything that you need. Bar & Restaurant although we ate in town. Lots of parking on site. Out of town but great as a stop-over. The only thing is that we booked two twins and a single room and then, about a week before, cancelled the single as our group dropped from 5 to 4. Still had to pay for the extra room apparently.
Have stayed here several times now always clean tidy and large spacious rooms never tried the restaurant as yet always made to feel welcome at the hotel staff very helpful it's in a quiet location so never any trouble with noise
What a lovely place to stay. Great room with a huge bathroom and top it off with a lovely breakfast all the works. There were major roadworks going on closeby but even with the windows open not much noise
This hotel looks clean and modern at first sight. Many small defaults and unpleasant personnel at desk and at the restaurant. - At the arrival, they make many difficulties to accept a payment in cash (must be done in advance however a credit card number as been given as guarantee). They try by all means to be paid by card. - At the restaurant, I presented a 50£ note for a 49.6£ bill. They didn't accept a 50£ note for internal rules!!! The consequence was a very unpleasant dispute in presence of my family during holidays. - Many small details indicate that this recent hotel is degrading at high speed: detached paving stones in the bath room, non working electrical teapot, room doors difficult to shut and bed ways to soft making a sleep with my wife very uncomfortable.
We have been staying at this hotel for many years and have been extremely happy. This year we checked in and registered our rental car for the free parking they guarantee. However following our stay we then travelled abroad. On our return we discovered that our rental car company had received a parking fine which they then charged against us. On querying this with Future Inn we were dismissed out of hand and quite rudely. Naturally we shall not use the hotel again, but we write this account to warn prospective visitors of their arrogant attitude. Such a pity.
