"A lovely hotel, but disappointed with the dining facilities, would have preferred a nice dining room instead of Asian food, the Encore cafe / bar decor wasn’t in keeping with the hotel , the lift to our floor kept breaking down so on leaving had to carry luggage down the stairs Struggled with the car parking"

"Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast is superb with a huge selection from the menu and buffet. The location is ideal and easy to get to anywhere in Douglas. The views are magnificent. There are a number of rooms without sea view and frosted windows but the rest of the experience overcomes this. Highly recommend"

"Large family room 50m from the promenade. Had everything you could need including large bathroom, tv, tea and coffee. Lots of local and tourist info and leaflets available. Staff were very helpful. We were not in the main building so had a short walk up the road for breakfast which was a good choice of full English or continental. We did eat at the restaurant otherwise. The bar is fairly good but not very big. The only negatives for us were the walk into town which took about 20mins. Luckily we had great weather so that helped. Also there was a lot of building work in the vicinity which meant it looked a bit scruffy and unkempt but if can see past that ( which we could) then you will be fine. All in all good value for money."
