"Close downtown to the core everything was walkable. I didn’t drive my car for two days and went on a cruise down to the Shannon River that was fun too and the oldest bar in Ireland 900 A.D. Sean‘s also went to a casino that was a hoot old style machines and a few new ones I actually won money. Great food choices and numerous cafes The breakfast included was stellar lots of variety and great coffee and juice too 5 star 🌟 out of 5 highly recommended"

"Great hotel - clean, convenient, and swanky! The only drawback was the need to use two different elevators and a connecting passage to get to our room in the "tower". I would suggest asking for a room in the main building to avoid getting lost (as I would have done if my partner didn't have superb situational awareness). Otherwise, a fantastic stay!"

Bloomfield House Hotel, Leisure Club & Spa

"Genuinely friendly reception staff didnt bat an eyelid when I checked in with toddler's pizza all down my front, and all the staff were very helpful - the room was so comfortable and as a single traveller I was placed in a lovely quiet area and although there was a wedding going on and lots of kids staying too, I found my room really peaceful and the views are to die for, out over the lake and the beautiful wide lawns and mature trees. The food was very good although on the first morning we did have to use a machine to make our own coffee which wasn't ideal. The second morning for some reason we had the coffee fresh in a pot at the table and this was much better. The pool is wonderful and theres a roomy steam room and a sauna as well, and the place is very clean."
