Muong Thanh Luxury Cao Bang Hotel
"I believe this is the nicest hotel in Cao Bang. We booked an executive room, which had plenty of space for my wife and me. We were also on the 18th floor, so the views were wonderful each day, even when it was foggy or overcast. The location is in the middle of the city. It was a short walk to great coffee, great bread, and a great vegan restaurant. It was also alongside the Friday and Saturday night market on Kim Dong. The couch and chairs in the living room are far from soft. The AC unit was inconsistent - sometimes the correct temps and sometimes it would shut off for too long. The bathroom was a dream - with a jacuzzi tub, roomy shower, and very nice amenities provided. The complimentary breakfast was good quality. The young lady chef with the glasses was always friendly and smiling, and she makes good omelets. The pool upstairs is big, but fills up due to the hotel selling access passes to non-guests. The pool hours are also strange, as it's closed from 10am-4pm daily. The housekeeping staff and front desk staff are outstanding, especially Miss Minh Dieu, who helped us out with a few things we needed. For everything you get, the prices are very reasonable. We would be happy to stay here again."
