Property was a great location and easy walk to and from beach. The pickle ball court right beside us was an added plus for my kids. The condo was clean and spacious. With two teenagers it was a challenge finding an accommodations with twin beds vs just queens in every room. We really enjoyed our stay!

This place was chosen as we needed a condo for a softball tournament we were playing in. The place was cute and comfortable. Upon arriving and settling in we did notice some cleanliness issues. We had dirty towels, dirty sheets on the bed and dirty window blinds with a sticky substance on them. Upon contacting the property manager the items were addressed quickly. In fact new sheets were on the bed and new towels were provided before returning from the ballpark the next day. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the place. We did have to drive across the street to access the beach but we had the pool within walking distance. We utilized both while staying there. I would say I think the housekeeping service needs to be addressed and a better job needs to be done. I tried to vacuum while I was there but the vacuum in the condo is old and smelled like wet dog upon running it. I swept instead. I think with owners not being present and the place being inspected before new guests arrive has caused a slight slack in upkeep on the place. That would be our only faults with it.

Easy parking to and from beach; easy to walk to beach if only carrying towel - about 10 minute walk; condo next to pickleball courts and you dont hear them at all; walk to a nice pool and restaurant in few minutes; visit Harbor village close by; lots of great restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, kids activities besides beach within 2 miles; beautiful sand and water; condo perfect

Great Location and reasonable price!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this condo. This is a great location for people who enjoy pickleball and tennis. There were numerous courts right outside our door. The beach is a 5 minute walk to the communities private beach. We had all we needed in the condo which is ideal since we do most all of our cooking at home. There were many affordable options for shopping nearby and we were centrally located to all fun activities in the area. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again if we return to the area.

Roomy condo and good location

The condo is exactly as pictured in Vrbo. The property is very safe, and has a guard station at the front to control who goes in/out. We stayed in this unit for a week. This condo overlooks the pickleball courts and is spacious, perfect for my family of four. It was clean and we liked the condo's layout. Our rental included 2 beach chairs and an umbrella at the private beach across the street which was very nice. It has most of the basics we need but lacks a hair dryer and insufficient toilet paper to last a week. An extra roll in each bathroom would have been nice. There were enough dishes, pots, and pans to cook a simple breakfast, which we did. We like it that we can park our car under the unit which provides shade in the hot weather and then walk up the stairs to the unit. During the last two days of our stay, a large family arrived at the unit directly above ours and there was constant noise of children running above our heads which was annoying and disturbed the peace that we were enjoying. Just beware if you are on the first floor, you can hear the footsteps of the people above you. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper property and will come back the next time we visit Destin.

Excellent As Always

Our third stay in this beautiful place. Always well kept and quiet. With the heat we made more use of the chairs and the private beach. The only thing is the tv wasn't set to the regular channel. Not everyone is tech minded and a little patience is needed with us older people. Otherwise another outstanding stay in paradise. Let us know if it's ever for sale, would love to retire here!! Thank you so much for another wonderful stay.

Enjoyed the stay.

Nice renovation/updates compared to other condos we have stayed at in Sandpiper Cove. Condo is in a good location on the property. We enjoyed the covered parking. Will try to stay here again.

Overall great stay

This is a great location. We loved the condo. I personally did not care for the kitchen. The outside area could have been cleaned up a bit. The owners of the conecting condos just have stuff everywhere.

Perfect location!

We have stayed at SPC almost every time we come to Destin and this has by far been our favorite condo to stay at! It was so spacious and the layout was perfect for our family of 4. I loved that parking situation. Usually your car is out in the open next to others but here it’s under a covered area and you have your own little spot, so your car is protected. No unloading and loading in the hot sun. Even my 5 year old said this was his favorite and he thinks we should buy one. He said he wanted to come back to this one every year! By far the best! Thank you!!

It was a beautiful condo. We enjoyed our stay. It was a girls trip and we love staying at sandpiper its our stay of choice in destin. This was the first condo I had stayed in sandpiper that had so many rules. Don't eat on couch, don't use decorative pillows, if you get makeup or stain on the towels you will be charged, the list goes on. You could only turn the temp to the lowest setting of 69 degrees. There was only 2 dish towels in the kitchen, 1 for drying and 1 for washing. Also if you need any Tupperware to pack fruit or food in you won't find it in this condo. It was very limited on supplies in the kitchen area. It was nice being on the first floor however the noise in the condo above you is awful. We could hear every footstep and piece of furniture being moved. This made sleeping difficult and just being in the condo unbearable at times with guest above. We have been coming to sandpiper for over 10 years and even though the condo was beautiful the noise from above was horrible. Another thing we arrived early the day of check-in the guard shack did not tell us the condo wasn't ready yet so we assumed it was good to go ahead and went to the condo. The code we had worked so we started carrying all of our luggage upstairs. After being there about 10 minutes a guy came into our condo by using the keypad and asked if he could help us? We said we was checking into the condo. Mind you it was 4 women. He said well check in time is 4:30 and came in and turned on television. We tried to explain to him that guard shack didn't tell us the condo wasn't ready and our digital code worked on the door. He was persistent in letting us know that check in was at 4:30. So we asked if we could leave our luggage in the closets rather than packing them back down and he said thay would be fine. You could tell the guy wanted to be a jerk but we was overly nice with our southern hospitality. I asked him if our code would still work at checkin time and he assured us it would. We didn't care if the condo was ready or not because we was going to enjoy the beach until check in but thinking the condo was ready we just wanted to drop off our luggage. This was the first time I had this encounter in all my years staying. I called my husband and told him what happened and he said why didn't you ask him who he was? I said well it was all of us women and I think we were taken back by how everything happened. So I'm still not sure who this guy was because he never said who he wa

SandPiper Cove

Always a pleasant stay at Sandpiper Cove. It's a very quiet community. Restaurants in close proximity. The beach is across the street and easily accessible. We used the owners beach chairs which is a big plus. The set-up is very easy down at the beach. Just ask the attendants to setup your chairs each day. There is a beach bar as well for drinks and food. Cash only. They have amazing fish tacos. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The balcony was large and looked out to the Tennis Courts. Would stay here again.

Second Stay

This is our second stay at Sandpiper. The private beach is very helpful to my mother who is unable to walk far. Everything needed is nearby, places to eat, Wal-mart, etc. We have had a wonderful time both times we stayed. We had an issue with the bank and feared we might miss it this year but were able to work it out quickly. Hopefully we will get a chance to stay here again in the future.

Unit was perfect ...

Unit was perfect for family of four and small dog. Very comfortable and centrally located to everything. Had all basic amenities but bring a hairdryer if you use one. Aside from the unit which was great, the public space and property needs some updating. Lounge chairs at the pool are terrible, stairways need some power washing and tennis court nets were falling off. Other than that all was good.

Pros: great location, covered parking was nice, walking distance to beach, condo was modern, restaurant on site, snack bar on beach, free beach service was great with our condo. Cons: neighbors above you are noisy, can hear children running around during the night, housekeeping issues brought to the attention of the owner weren’t addressed, coffee pot was broken, it’s pet friendly but white dog hair was all over the dark blue fabric furniture, purple splatters on bedroom door, food splatters on wall.
