Management and owners are cowards, hide in their offices and leave reception staff who have no authority to deal with complaints. Very threatening and definitely not the environment you want on a family holiday and especially in a town you are not familiar with. False advertising and Website is very misleading as there is no free airport pickup and swimming pool ???? Couldn't find it. States it's a 4* luxury hotel but it has no hot water, dirty and room service is really bad, quality of food is below average and it's in the middle of a residential area so it's difficult to catch taxis or rickshaws and Uber's kept getting lost. Had better food from market stalls around town. We were constantly lied to as We complained about the hot water on the first night and were happy to move to another hotel the following day if this would not be resolved, however each day we were assured it was fixed and only found out when we went for a shower and complained again and again. Luckily we were only there for a couple of days. Ordered room service (2 pizzas) and they bought us one wrong pizza and one burnt pizza for which we were charged for despite being assured that they would be removed from the bill. At check out when we complained about being charged for this and the above airport pickup we were threatened by the Director saying that he would confiscate our luggage if we disputed the bill. Some of the staff were nice and friendly but overall the service and quality of food is really bad. Location is not ideal either. Wouldn't recommend it for the price you pay and the stress and hassle you have to go through.
Went here via Citrus Hoilday's (Go India) on a Golden Triangle & Goa trip. It was unappealing, and seemed more like flats than a hotel! There were no positives to see. We had to asked for towels as none of our 4 rooms had towels in them. The rooms were unclean, some of the showers were not working, fridges empty, safe not working, brown water coming from the tap in one of the rooms, doors not secure, air con not working or leaking and staff not helpful. We made our way to the bar upstairs to have a drink. The bar was dirty with no facilities and you were sat in with people well 2 people having food. We asked for 7 beers and was informed they only had 4! So then asked for Vodka didn’t have any, Gin again the answer was no and only a few cans of soft drinks. In the morning we couldn’t eat the food as the facilities were disgusting and looked like it had been reheated and been there for a few days. Also, some of us couldn’t even have a shower as there was no water. in one of the room the shower had a cleaning bucket still left in there but they had not used it to clean!
From top, Director Sanjay Shrivastav the service is very poor. He has no sense of customer service and does not listen to cuatomer needs. Its a four star hotel but there is no hot water, wifi is not good and the quality of the food is also not very good. Very bland, markets in town have nicer food. We constantly had to chase and follow up room service requests and were charged the full service charge as well as for orders that were incorrectly made. False advertising for free airport transfer as you have to pay for airport pick up and drop off. The director threatened to confiscate our luggage and is not willing to listen to any disputes/ complaints first. Location is not ideal either. I did not even want to put ond star but its a required minimum.
Am shocked it has been given a four star rating despite having no hot water, food quality is not good at all and the website being misleading stating there is free airport pick up when there isn't. The rooms are large and spacious but had no hot water the four nights despite being promised each day that we were there that it had been fixed. There is service charge but the service is horrendous incorrect food orders burnt pizza and the language and attitude of the Director Sanjay Srivastav is beyond belief with no goodwill towards all the short comings and false promises. Please don't ruin your holiday and stay there the quality has significantly dropped especially for the price you're paying.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was lovely - spacious, clean and quiet. Restaurant served adequate food for breakfast and dinner and staff seemed friendly, however it lacked atmosphere completely. Only saw one other person use it at same time as us. If there is a pool we didn't find it!
We arrived here on our first day of Delhi and stayed here for 2 days! The breakfast is brilliant and the customer service is great! The food in the evening is okay but could do with a lick of paint on the walls with some more modern furnitures ! We have to admit though this made Delhi relaxing and the place is tucked away!! Deffo would recommend this place!!
We were in Delhi to attend our friends' wedding. We stayed in this hotel because it's just walking distance to our friend's place, where the wedding reception was held. 1. The hotel needs a little renovations. It's maybe a 20 years old hotel and used to be a very good hotel, but today, it needs clean up, and renovation in some areas; 2. Our room was clean and very spacious. We had a king size bed, so it was spacious enough for me, my wife and my six months old baby to sleep together. So our room was okay, not luxury but comfortable; 3. Breakfasts were DELICIOUS. At the first look, the buffet looks uninviting and boringly presented, but the Indian breakfast they served were so delicious. We enjoyed our breakfast everyday for the 5 days we stayed there. We also ordered room service dinner and lunch, because sometimes we were just too tired to go out (New Delhi was quite hot and the hotel location is quite far from any restaurants), and the room service food they served were also excellent, although the price were quite expensive. 4. The people: friendly and quite helpful. 5. The bad thing about this hotel was the wifi connection that were always down. There werent any days without us calling the front office, complaining about the internet connection. in fact, the last two days of our stay, we didnt get any internet connection at all. This is bad, since internet connection is vital. Overall, despite of the internet connection, we were quite enjoying our stay in Mantra Amaltas. A suggestion for the management: please have the hotel tidy up a little, more cleanings and please do some renovations, I'm sure people will enjoy more staying in Mantra Amaltas.
Arrived after a long flight we were shown to our room to find it hadn’t been prepared I think the last guests had just left, back down to reception while they cleaned the room floor very sticky and state of decor very poor cobwebs on lights and the sink and shower head were very dirty, next night air conditioning broke down, moved rooms next one a little better. As for the restaurant, I just had breakfast just toast as I wouldn’t risk eating anything else
Rooms are clean and spacious.Hotel staff is very polite and helpful.Room service is good.Hotel is located at a peaceful location so you won't be troubled by any noise.Complementary breakfast is OK.One may face some difficulty while locating the hotel but overall it was a nice experience to stay at mantra amaltas.I would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers, especially if they want to stay away from Delhi's sound pollution.
After escaping a horrible hotel in inner Delhi we arrived at Mantra Amaltas late at night and they were extremely accommodating! We stayed two nights and they upgraded us, helped with some travel admin stuff we needed to get sorted and extended our check out time to suit our itinerary. The room was big and clean, good shower and daily housekeeping. The restaurant was ok, we only ate breakfast once. Best to venture out and explore the hidden Neighbour eat outs like Lodi Garden Restaurant :) Thanks for a welcoming stay!
