This is a great quality B&B, you are provided with everything you could need from comfy beds, lots of linen and towels, a kettle and coffee, tea, biscuits and chocolate in the room. Sandy keeps the room super tidy and gives lots of great recommendations for restaurants and walks in the local area. Breakfast is excellent and big. I couldn't recommend it more if you are travelling to deal or sandwich

A great place to stay. The farmhouse is utterly beautiful, surrounded by a pretty garden. We stayed in the Rose room which was lovely and filled with everything you could think of, fridge, fan, fruit, chocolates etc. The hosts, Sandy and Peter, were so welcoming and the breakfast a definite 10/10. Whether you are looking to visit the White Cliffs, castles or sandy beaches, you won't have to travel far. We will definitely be returning!

We stayed for two nights on a weekend break to explore the local top sites to visit. Was not disappointed! The hosts Sandy & Peter were lovely and very welcoming, our room (Rose Room) was absolutely beautiful in every way. The small touches, bed turned down every night, chocolates left were very welcome! The award winning Full English Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked every morning. The accommodation is so quiet and set in a lovely rural location making it easy to drive to local Deal, Sandwich and Walmer Castle (well worth a visit), even Canterbury is only 35 minutes away. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone seeking a nice quiet break, thank you Sandy & Peter for making the weekend so special 😀

An absolutely perfect place to stay - the house and bedrooms are beautiful and our hosts Sandy and Peter were extremely welcoming and friendly There was fresh fruit and chocolates in the room and breakfasts were freshly cooked to individual requirements. Nothing was too much trouble and everything you could wish for was provided Will be back!

Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived to when we said goodbye. Before our trip communication was excellent with Sandy ana Peter who were extremely helpful with plans for our trip. On arrival parking was easy and safe and we were greeted with a friendly smile a much needed cup of tea and delicious cake. The guest house was beautiful spotless and full of character. Breakfast was first class and again served with a very friendly smile, Peter and Sandy were great fun hosts. We were 3 couples staying at Solley farm to walk part of the Saxon Shore way. Day 1 we got a taxi to Dover and walked to Sandwich a long 15 miles but easy walking. Day 2 we walked Folkestone to Dover again great views of the White Cliffs. We will definitely return to Solley farm next time we visit the area and would highly recommend.

Great visit to the farm. The ice cream was so good and so many flavors to choose from. I had ginger/rhubarb and coconut and my husband had mint chocolate chips and vanilla. Wish the hours were longer say till 6pm

A lovely stay at Solley Farm House with excellent hosts Sandra & Peter. I stayed in the Gold Room which was finished too a very high standard. You are made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast choice was excellent.Thank you for a very enjoyable stay whilst on business in the area. Look forward to staying in the near future.

Just returned home having spent seven nights in this quintessentially English farmhouse B&B where we were warmly welcomed by Sandy & Peter with tea & cake. Each of the three bedrooms has their own unique character (we tried out two Blue room & Rose room) all beautifully clean and maintained daily with fruit, biscuits and chocolates. The beds were very comfortable and it’s a very quiet area hence a great night’s sleep. The hairdryers were very powerful so not necessary to take your own. The bathrooms were equipped with excellent power showers delivering soft silky water. Every toiletry you could possibly need is provided, not forgetting a whole set of fresh white soft towels of different sizes changed daily. A delicious breakfast was cooked by Peter with the best quality food complemented by a wide variety of breads, preserves and drinks. Two mornings we had Sandy’s amazing, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and home-grown chives. It is clear to us why Solley Farmhouse has earned the 5* Gold Award, huge attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this place to our friends. Local Attractions: There are many places you can explore from here that are a short distance away. English Heritage sites that we visited were Walmer, Deal & Dover Castles also St Augustine’s Abbey. We also visited many gardens of which we loved Quex Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, Sue and David

My partner and I stayed for 4 nights in this absolutely beautiful B&B and cannot recommend it enough. If you are looking for the nicest hosts in England, a beautiful and cosy house to stay in, a spotless and nicely decorated room, the best breakfast you could ask for with only the highest quality food (and nice chats with the hosts and other guests to go along with that), then this is the place for you. Sandy and Peter welcomed us with open arms and were very friendly and helpful. Sandy went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She kept the room clean and tidy multiple times a day and was always there if we needed anything. If you come by car, you can park in the driveway and also explore the area (good pubs, quiet neighborhood for walks, Sandwich and Deal only 5-15mins away...). You will get the best sleep because it's super quiet and the bed is very comfy (we stayed in the Gold Room with ensuite bath). We will definitely come back and will recommend this B&B to all our friends and family in the meantime. Thank you Sandy and Peter! :)

Solley Farm House is a delightful B&B. We were thoroughly spoilt by our hosts Sandy and Peter. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable with lovely views over the duck pond. The added touches of tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits, chocolates and fruit, not to mention the clean towels daily were very appreciated. The breakfast is fantastic and sets you up for a day of sightseeing. We will definitely be back. T & S London
