Great week. We had 2 adults and three teenage boys. We all had a great time. This house is close to the beach and quick walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The house is old but was clean and had what we needed. The landscaping/outdoor area could use some work but I had expected that from previous reviews. It would have been nice to have a shaded patio area to relax in the evening but it looks like they’re getting ready to do some work outside. Would definitely stay again.

Mermaid Home

This home was an absolute delight! The kids were thrilled with the fun and charming decor inside. While the yard wasn’t the most appealing, the location more than made up for it—just a short walk to the beach! One suggestion I’d offer is to add a full-length mirror to the house for added convenience.

We love the Mermaid Manor!

My husband and I, along with some friends came in for a quick beach trip and for the Daytona Coke Zero 400 race. This house is the right across the road from the beach, so just a quick walk! Great location near all restaurants. Each Uber from the race track to the house and back averaged $25. Super convenient.

Grass was not cut , could not use the yard. Dishwasher broken, would not supply us with dish soap. Lots of little things broken. Got a check in Letter - telling us we needed to provide trash bags that we were only getting one. We had to take the trash can to the street with all the neighbors trash in it. . We did like the endless hot water take. The hot tub was nasty. Rooms were clean. Bathroom were clean. A lot of places provide soaps and shampoos- they did not. A lot of hidden thing in the check in letter that we’re not expected. But to Kate to cancel. I would ask for full disclosure. The neighborhood was ok

Loved this house

The house was very beautiful inside, very spacious, very clean, 3 minutes to beach, had washer, dryer, nice back yard, fenced in, gas grill, picnic table, had 7 beach chairs, beach towels, kids sand toys, ceiling fans.2 1/2 baths, smart TVs in all 3 bedrooms, and large one in lr. Really enjoyed this house and all it provided!!

House was nice, included towels, beach chairs! Location was within walking distance of places i enjoy to check out. Would enjoyed better if back yard was more inviting. Could have had a fire place, sprayed for bugs and grass cut.

Perfect location!

We could not have asked for a better location just south of all the busy resorts. We could walk to two great beachside restaurants and the beach. Bring your Jeep because this beach allows driving! The three bedrooms were perfectly sized, the kitchen had everything we needed and there was a closet full of stuff to use at the beach. I was a bit surprised that there was no shampoo or conditioner, but this was a great place for the price.

Cute and Nice!

This is such a cute house. It was easy to get in and is right across from the beach and dining options. I would definitely recommend for anyone that wants easy access to the beach and space for a family. It has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. I hope to be able to stay here again for the next time I’m in Daytona Beach!

Lamps had burned out light bulbs, none turned on, had to buy bulbs, main refrigerator in kitchen went out, it was making a loud horrible noise when we arrived, shower floor in second bedroom was cracked, needs updating, exhaust fans did not work in any bathrooms, light was burned out in main hall bath, back porch light didn’t work, TV in one bedroom didn’t work, sinking spots in the hallway floor, hot tub in pictures looked open and working, in reality it was broke and not usable.

Our stay at the Mermaid Manor was excellent. The home was just like they stated. The home had easy access to everything. We walked just across the road through a parking lot and we were on the beach. We walked to the Broadway with ease. There was two great restaurants across the road in the same parking lot area. We would come again and again. We give it ***** stars. A true gem.
