We enjoyed our stay 3/5/18-3/9/18. The room was really nice and the staff were extremely courteous and very helpful. The only change I would request to be made is that the light switch timer in the laundry room be changed to one that is not motion activated. The switch is on the side of a column away from the laundry room and it does not pick up movement in the room and goes off every 5 minutes and you have to get up and go around to the other side of the column for the lights to come back on. Other that that, we had no problems and would definitely stay there again!

The location is very good, Daytona Beach and Ormond are very close by car, nothing much in walking distance. The rooms that have been remodeled are very nice. The bedding, TVs, and kitchens are all clean and nearly new. Everyone we encountered on staff was friendly and helpful. The parking garage is easy to access, but it's a bit cramped. The pool and deck area are OK, just nothing spectacular. The only problems we had were with other guests. Between spring breakers and bike week, there was plenty of late night noise and 'funky' smoke to go around.

Good location for a good price. Maint. going on at resort. Hope they continue to improve. One bad thing the next morning after arrival found my windshield had a large crack in it. Would stay again hoping thing continue to improve. Lots of potintual. .

We rented a two-bedroom, two-bath condo for a week, to attend the Daytona 500 and get some time away from the western PA winter. There were three of us, my husband, 13-year-old stepdaughter, and myself. This was my our 8th trip to the Daytona Beach area, but our first here at Casa del Mar. The place we usually stay was unavailable. I found this condo through a web search, and we weren't sure what to expect. We were quite pleased with our choice! We loved having the separate quarters, and bath, for our daughter, and she appreciated it too! She would disappear into her own room with her tablet and Netflix logon, and be quite happy! The beds were very comfortable, in fact she said it was the most comfortable she's slept in other than her own. The building has apparently recently been renovated, and it shows. The kitchen cupboards still smelled new. There is a counter-installed cooktop, and a combination microwave/convection oven(?). Not sure how that worked, we used the cooktop, which is how we roll at home. Full-size fridge. The kitchen is well-equipped, with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, bakeware, saucepans and skillets. The condo supplied dish soap, bath amenities such as would be in a hotel, laundry detergent, bath towels, kitchen towels, and towels for at the pool. The pool was a nice size, with plenty of chaise lounges both poolside and a bit away from the pool as well. There is shuffleboard, corn hole, and a giant chess board. The water was a perfect temp! The individual units do not have washers/dryers. There are five or six for the building, but I have to say I had no problem getting a machine when I wanted one. The staff was very friendly and helpful, check-in and -out was easy. Kheri in particular was very personable and pleasant. I also will say that despite these being time-shares, we were NOT approached, called, contacted, or otherwise bothered by sales pitches or offers to attend seminars or aanything. Huge bonus!!! The only negative thing I have to say is that the interior of the unit was a little dark, especially on the cloudy days we had. The main window is also the slider to the balcony, so the second bedroom was rather like an inside stateroom on a cruise ship. This was a minor issue, and one we adjusted to quickly. We enjoyed Casa del Mar, and would definitely stay again!

The staff were amazing and the rooms were comfortable even though they were missing quite a few things since they were recovering from the hurricane. The construction crews were there extra bright and early and that wasn't my favorite thing there by any means... I woke up to hammers daily.

Clean, friendly and right on the beach...what else is there. Oh yes, heated pool, hot tub, bar, and did I mention right on the beach We love it. Oh and underground parking. Luggage carts for luggage in parking garage.

my husband and I loved the resort. on the beach, onsite restaurant, excellent location to all the restaurants and sites you want. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful telling us the great places to go eat.

Perfect location . Comfortable . stayed in a 2 BR with living room and kitchen. Each bedroom had a balcony. It is located Right on the beach. This area of the beach is not crowded . Restaurants within walking distance. Less than 15 min drive to Daytona.

Our eight days here were great but not without a couple issues. It seems to have been a hotel turned condo. The room is advertised to have a full kitchen. It doesn't. All you have to cook on is a hot plate and a microwave. There are all the pots and pans needed to cook with but no way to use them. When I tried to use the hot plate and the micro at the same time it tripped the fuse. Had to call the office. The maintenance man said you can only use one appliance at a time because of old wiring. We had to eat out more than we had planned. One day they decided to paint the fence around the pool area in he middle of the day. They were also pressure washing the parking area. Making parking a challenge. Poor planning during the busy season. Now the good stuff. The bed is very comfortable. We had a great view from the fourth floor. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You have to do the Dine-n-Cruise on the river. The food is AMAZING for the price! The Oyster Pub lived up to it's #3 ranking of places to eat in the area. We had luch at Riptides it was good. Do Not order from Giovanni's Pizza place. Awful experience!! The light house at Ponce Inlet was a great way to spend a few hours. If you have never been to the dog track I would try it. All things considered we had a good stay.

The hotel staff was helpful and made check in easy. The room was very spacious and very clean. The property was. Very well kept, they also have a vey good hot breakfast, the. Beach is right there, and you have view from many rooms.
