I booked because this was a Residence Inn, a known quantity. On arrival, it had clearly been something else previously, and was tired and well-used, with heavily stained carpets in the elevator and stains in our room as well.
I had noted that I had a dog with me when I checked in, but was never informed of the $100 pet fee, and was only asked to fill in the “pet form” when I came back in with my dog and our belongings, and my hands were full.
Extremely limited nearby dining, with only two poor options.
