Pristine 3-Bedroom 2-Bath Northwoods Lake Cabin
Relax at this peaceful, fully renovated Burlingame Lake cabin in the Danbury, WI area. Private dock with boat ramp 200 yards away. Spectacular views, connected to 1,000+ acres of sparkling water - whether it's hiking on trails, watching wildlife, awesome fishing, boating, skiing, kayaking, biking, golfing, riding 1,000s of miles of ATV/UTV/snowmobile paths, staring at the incredible dark starry night skies, visiting the nearby casino or historic sites - the entertainment options are endless! If you're interested in adding to your water fun and vacation experience, you can rent a pontoon during your stay at Starry Night to explore the Minerva chain of lakes with 10,000 acres of water to enjoy. The pontoon has a brand-new 4-stroke motors with power trim / tilt (no oil to mix in). We supply a tank of gas. The pontoon is a 21' 1993 Northland boat with a 30HP motor and can comfortably seat 7-8 people. If interested, reach out to host after booking for more details. When the days get short and the snow covers the trails and the ice on the lakes, outstanding ice fishing and snowmobiling is just out the front door. The Minerva Chain and especially Burlingame Lake are renown for plentiful and sizable pan fish, northern pike and large mouth bass. The southern segment of the Gandy Dancer State Trail travels for 47 miles in Wisconsin through the communities of Centuria, Milltown, Luck, Frederic, Siren and Webster, ending in the town of Danbury at the Minnesota border. Here a 520-foot trestle crosses the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway into Minnesota. Built on a former railroad corridor, the trail is named for the work crews who laid the railroad tracks. The crews used tools made by the Gandy Tool Company of Chicago and were known to work by keeping their voices, feet and tools in harmony, leading them to be called "Gandy Dancers."
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a balcony. There's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms and a dining area. Other standard amenities include a fireplace, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

The house was very easy to find from the road and the water. We enjoyed the amazing view of the lake from the large patio. The house was very comfortable with plenty of room for my friends and I. Located close to so many bars and parks I wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Independence Day Getaway!
My wife and I, our two adult daughters, and one of their fiances (and our two very small dogs) spent four days at the incomparable Starry Night. The home is situated on a hill with a bank of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Burlingame Lake. The view was first-rate. The wonderfully appointed home features the biggest and best equipped kitchen I've ever seen in a vacation rental home. The place was clean, spacious, and well-appointed throughout. There's also a pontoon available for rent from the proprietor. Do rent it. It's a basic boat but it works and is quite easy to operate. It greatly enhanced our enjoyment of the trip to catch (and release) Burlingame's ample supply of nice panfish.Communication with the owner was easy and promptly answered. My only suggestion to the owner would be an investment in some new, firmer mattresses. But that's a small quibble. All in all, this is a quality property that will not disappoint and is a credit to VRBO. Choose it - you'll like it!
