Absolutely loved the hotel itself, very clean inside and smelled great! Staff gave me an end room that was quite large, thank you! I do think the hotel is in the worst location, and the parking area is horrible. Its like walking into a hotel that looks like it belongs in paradise, to walking out of the hotel into reality and fear of being mugged or shot in the parking lot. I hate the price changes from Thursday to friday, what crap. Ive stayed and holiday inn so much, and havent got any good deals as a member. My SPG membership offered better deals. I recommend if you dont mind the price, but there is def better deals out there for the same presentation
This hotel DOES NOT have an airport shuttle to DFW even though it came up on Orbitz as having one. When we arrived there was no one at the front desk and we had to wait for 5 minutes for someone to show up. Room was clean but musty. Bathroom doesn't have a fan. Breakfast was good but only had apples and oranges for fruit. Within walking distance of lots of chain restaurants
Looks like I lost my Credit Card and some cash in an envelope during my stay. I called the property but nothing was lost & found. And I suspect someone may have done it intentionally from my bag I left in the room on the next day when I was out.I'm truly disappointed.Thanks.
The first room we were assigned too had mold all over the walls. We requested to be placed into a different room and thankfully we were accommodated but then had to pay an extra fee for changing rooms! We will never book this hotel again.
The worst hotel condition and maintenance I've seen in a long time. If I wanted to stay in a fleabag motel, I would have spent ¼ what I paid here and gone there, if I wanted a poor paint job, carpets dirty and outdated, the furniture beat up and scratches all over the place, windows that are drafty and lets in all the freeway noise, and walls that are so thin I can hear the room next door turning on the tap. The staff tried their best to accommodate, but I had to cut my stay short and move to a new place, as I got no sleep the one night I stayed here.
Amongst other things, they advertise free shuttle transportation to the airports. However, they don't tell you up front that they DON'T on weekends. They even said upon check-in that they would have a shuttle ready on Sunday so I thought everything was set. So, at the last second on Sunday they tell me there's no shuttle! Know how much a taxi/uber costs from this place? They also misrepresented other things that you can't find out about until you're stuck there. This dump sure gives definition to the phrases "False Advertising" and "Bait and Switch". Stay Away!
A nice small hotel with family atmosphere and very friendly and responsive staff.
I recently traveled to Dallas with some friends with the purpose of attending the Patriots / Cowboys game. I booked this hotel and decided to go with the suite for the extra $20 a night. When I arrived at the hotel I checked in, went up to my room to find that i had been put in a handicap accessible room. The room had a funny smell and when i went into the bathroom i found that the handheld shower head could not hold its own weight. I'm only 5'8 and shower head wouldn't stay higher than my shoulders. So i went downstairs and asked for a different room and was told initially none were available. I was then told i regular room became available and that they would discount me the difference form the suite. I went and moved all my stuff into the new room and when i came down to the lobby to return the key, the manager was there and found an additional suite that was available. They staff worked great trying to accommodate me even with the hotel being completely booked because of the game, the Texas/Oklahoma game and the state fair. So kudos to the staff for helping out. So i finally get into my room and the first couple of nights everything is fine. Sunday I wake up to go to the game and the power is off in the hotel. I had to go to my friend's hotel down the street to get ready. Came back after the game and everything seemed to be working again. I woke up again monday morning to no power and once again had to go to a friend's hotel to get ready. I was expecting some kind of explanation even an email or something from the hotel apologizing for the inconvenience but i never heard anything about it. As far as the hotel goes, it had its perks, it was right off the highway and near a bunch of chain restaurants. The staff, as mentioned was willing to help out as much as they could. However, it wasn't the cleanest and maybe not the ideal location if you're traveling to Dallas for a fun weekend away. It's about a $40 Uber/Tax ride to anywhere fun. Hope this helps !!
Holiday Inn Express & Suites DALLAS PARK CENTRAL NORTHEAST, Dallas, TX, United States
Hotel staff was very friendly. Only one elevator in a very crowded hotel was inconvenient at times.
my stay was wonderful front desk staff Great room very clean shall recommand to my friends any time my range would be 9/10 close to cheddars.. There staff is great also
Near the highway, near the park, near restaurants and shopping. Comfortable, clean room with friendly staff and great amenities! Will return next time I'm in Dallas!
Very quite, easy access to highways, close to the airport. Clean rooms easy check in & check out and the Monday - Wed Happy hour with hor’derves was a pleasant surprise. I was there for 6 nights overall nice experience. I would defiantly recommend staying here.
the hotel was in a great location. though somewhat worn the room was clean & very comfortable. the staff was very helpful & friendly.
Was a nice stay with no issues. I would recommend this hotel and although it is a bit pricey it is very nice and you will enjoy your stay more than at a budget hotel
Good, solid quality. Hotel is getting a little worn but the friendliness of the staff makes up for it.
We stayed in the king size suite w hot tub. Everything was perfect from the staff, breakfast, location, and room itself. The bed was real comfortable didn't want to get out of it. The location was great! It was in same parking lot w 4 restaurants and wasn't far from mall. I was overly pleased!
I received a bill under the door the next morning. I had shown the desk my confirmed, paid reservation when I checked in. So I was surprised to get a bill. The lady at the front desk said she would straighten out the problem. I stated that the gentleman at the front desk didn't bother to look at my reservation or ask for ID. The lady said she would talk to the man. Stephanie, hostess for the evening hour, was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed visiting with her and enjoyed the refreshments she served.
