This was my third stay at the property. My clients choose where I stay when I am in Dallas. The first stay, about a year ago was good. My apartment was clean and comfortable. The second stay, the unit I was assigned had an odd smell, but overall was, again okay. This last visit was mostly a disaster. First, all their signage to find your unit, is wrong and leads you to dead ends, so finding my unit took me 30 minutes of roaming the halls. I called the management and they helped me through it until I finally arrived at the apt. When i opened the door the apt smelled bad. Musty, or something, which I attributed to the dirty carpets! The carpets, which are beige, were black with dirt in any trafficked area. I contacted the management again, and they immediately offered to re-locate me. So I started a tour to see if the next assigned apt would smell better and have clean carpets...but NO, same issue in apt number 2...then I went on and moved to option 3...which has wood floors, but someone had stayed in the unit and it was not cleaned for another guest, so the management sent me to option 4! This unit also smelled and the rugs were dirty, so the representative told me she would move me to a renovated unit the next day. Night 2...i arrived at Number 5 apartment! It was renovated and very nice. Wood floors, no carpets, clean and well furnished. The bottom line is, that not all apts are equal in layout or furnishings, but all the carpets were dirty and the units smell bad. The management was very professional, and pro active, so they did their best to help me, and they deserve kudos for pleasantly assisting me throughout the ordeal. The customer service gets 5 stars. If I go there again I would only stay in a renovated apartment with wooden floors...

The Guild in Dallas on McKinney is amazing! The place was immaculate, spacious and welcoming! It was decorated with style and even left us sunglasses, slippers and socks as keepsakes from the wonderful visit. It’s also a perfect location near restaurants and you can’t beat Whole Foods right below. Anytime I come to visit Dallas, I’ll be staying at the Guild!! The customer service and accommodations are top notch and made me feel like home!

I had some trouble accessing the property but after a quick text I was supplied with an access code. My one bedroom apartment was beautiful and the décor was modern. The king-size bed was really comfortable. It was great having a full-size kitchen along with a washing machine and dryer. The Wi-Fi was super fast. The pool is still under construction so I was unable to use it. The only negative thing is Friday Saturday and Sunday night they can be some noise from the street from the surrounding restaurants and bars. Don’t let this put you off this property.

Can't beat the location. Loved the fact that they do a background check on you before you can complete check in. Loved the W/D and Full Kitchen. 2 Large TV's is a plus as well. Can't really say anything negative except maybe more lighting in the long hallways. Will be back!

One of the best stays in Dallas so far! We will never get a hotel again. The way this place operates made checking in and out a breeze! The 2bedroom 2bath apartment was roomy and the decor was great. And the mobile updates with all the instructions and directions were very convenient!

I’m writing this as I lay awake listening to people (loud people), loud cars and motorcycles on a Sunday night. The check in is ridiculous. Now I understand, it’s more like an air bnb. It’s NOT a hotel there is NO front desk, there is no sign that you are at your destination! I had to text a number to check in. They were slow to respond. Send a picture of me holding my DL. THEN you get a set of instructions to get to your room. The apartments are nice. Upscale college dorm. TIP. take a picture of you license plate before going to your room. You’ll see why.

We will definitely stay here again! It was spacious, clean and comfortable! Loved all the special touches that made it feel homey. A perfect place for our group of 5. Thank you so much for everything!

This is more an apartment than hotel , huge 2 bedroom apartment with living room , 2 bathrooms, patio and full kitchen. Clean and all the things one needs for cooking, washing clothes, paying records and watching tv. Great location in uptown, walk or ride rentable scooters everywhere. Lots of restaurants close by. Safe neighborhood, plenty of room for family of 5 . Will definitely be back!!

you have to park your car, check in, them love your car to the parking behind gates. A little confusing. I booked this last minute, same day. Booking was easy except I didn’t get sent check in info or address. I had to text them to request this, while I was sitting in car waiting for the address on where to go. The text correspondence was sometimes unreliable, ie took a long time to reply. But always eventually replies. I was a little anxious waiting for address on where to go as it was late and kids were tired. Other than that. Apartment was really clean and spacious. Great location. Not noisy. Easy walk to KT trail. Lots of restaurants around. At night, lots of party goers in parking lot. I guess this is why there a separate resident parking behind the bars (where we park).

Upon checking in, surprised to see earplugs on nightstand, not sure why there were there or if they were used or not. It’s true you can hear the neighbors walking overhead, thump thump thump and vaguely hear their conversation, but it is an apartment building. Found out about the earplugs when I woke hearing and feeling the bass from the club next door. Outside there’s strong lights on all night long. The curtains didn’t cover the windows sufficiently to block out the light in the bedroom and in the living room where guest no. 2&3 would be, transom windows were not covered in any way. Bath towels were plush, but one set had unknown stains. No hot water at all in apartment. I let them know as soon as I found out and was happy to see that had been resolved upon my return day 2, but that was too fresh of a shower for me. Would never stay here again.
