I strongly recommend avoiding this property.The problems began before we even arrived. The host sent multiple links requesting additional deposits outside of the VRBO platform, which immediately raised concerns.When we arrived, the check-in instructions were inaccurate, leaving us locked out of the property. After multiple calls to the host, we were only able to gain access because another guest let us into the building.Once inside, the unit had no functioning air conditioning in Texas heat Despite the obvious issue, the host insisted the system was working and refused to offer any refund or meaningful assistance.After I escalated the matter to VRBO, the host continued to claim the problem was caused by the guest rather than addressing the lack of air conditioning. No resolution or compensation was provided.Between the off-platform payment requests, the failed check-in process, and the lack of a habitable room, this was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve had. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this property.
