Staff was kind, but housekeeping forgot us one day. They remedied this quickly when we went to the front desk. Although we asked for a double bed, my husband and I were assigned two twin beds. Kind of a bummer.
Nice, central location to the main square. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were small but adequate. Very clean. Breakfast on the 4th floor was available for several hours and had several offerings. Moe than adequate to start the day. Festivals were going on so occasionally we heard bands, and guns go off near our room early in the morning. Otherwise, our room was very quiet.
My daughter and I traveled to Peru and stayed at Casa Andina hotels in Cusco, Aguas Calientes and Lima. Every facility was staffed with friendly, helpful people and the rooms were fantastic. I would definitely recommend Casa Andina if you are traveling in Peru.
Great central location close to all the plazas, restaurants and markets. Rooms were cool but the inroom heater was sufficient to warm up the room. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
Its a great location, but like other hotels its has its issues. Mainly other guest slamming their doors, AC unit running 24/7, construction taking place in our time. I would recommend staying here, but ask for a room location that is not noise.
We had a lovely stay with Casa Andina Standard Cusco Plaza. It is very conveniently located to great restaurants and markets, attractions and sites of interest. The staff were lovely and it helped that they were able to understand our attempts at Spanish.
The hotel is ideal when visiting Cusco for a brief period. Very central and provides everything that you need for a short stay. Collected us from the airport and stored our luggage whilst we visited Machu Picchu as well as arranging taxis for us, all done with good grace and no charge.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean and in a great location. The staff was very accommodating they opened the breakfast 30 mins early because we had an early tour. The reason we gave it a very good, instead of an excellent, the rooms were very small and the walls were very thin, we heard the person in the next room. It was very quiet inspite of that. WIFI very very slow.
I booked in downtown cusco near plaza de Armas since we were going to come back from our Inca trail on May22, however, when we came back around 7pm and the hotel were full, we were asked to upgrade to premium Casa Andina cusco which is located in other side of the city. I feel that I should contact hotel before we departures for our trail to make sure we were going to checkin in the later night and hotel may saved our rooms. Rujun
Stayed 3 nights at this property. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location...about a block from the main square, near restaurants and tourist attractions. My only complaint is that the rooms aren't very sound proof. From inside our room, we could hear two girls talking one evening...and this is with our windows closed. We could also clearly hear everything people said while they walked in the hallway.
