Casa Andina Standard Cusco Plaza

Had a room with a balcony overlooking one of the squares. Breakfast room overlooks part of Plaza de armes. Rather homely hotel with pleasant staff on hand to help. Shower room leaked some of the time though. Overall a good hotel in Cusco.

Casa Andina is centrally located with the main square just round the corner. It is at the heart of all the attractions, restaurants and shopping areas. The hotel is modern, very clean and the rooms are very comfortable. We had a triple occupancy room and it was like a suite with one queen bed in one room and two other beds in the adjacent area. Free Wi-Fi is also available. The breakfast is on the top floor overlooking the cathedral through quaint dormers. Simple, adequate food. The staff are very helpful.

Hotel was very clean and neat. The front desk personnel, especially Jonathan and Alfredo, were very helpful and guided us to restaurants and shops. The rooms were small but comfortable. The hotel provides liquid hand soap by the sink in the bathroom and shampoo and liquid soap in the shower, which was great! The breakfast was adequate with a variety of foods. We even made sandwiches to take to Machu Picchu! The nicest thing the hotel staff did was sing happy birthday to my husband and give him a small cake on the morning of his birthday, above and beyond good service!

Hotel was very clean and presented well for a first-time traveller to Peru. The staff were attentive and their English was good. Alfredo was especially helpful in making us feel welcome, carrying our bags and helping us navigate around Cusco. Our room was clean and fresh. The hotel is situated close to many attractions like the Cusco Cathedral, the Inca Museum (well worth taking a tour) and the Chocolate Museum (also well worth a tour). The only detraction is that the shower temperature and pressure was unpredictable, sometimes too hot and sometimes cold, but we experienced this in other hotels in Peru so we put it down to a quirk in the plumbing systems endemic to the country. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Cusco.

The hotel is located near the main square & great restaurants in Cuzco. Room was a little small, no place to open our suitcases. I kept mine under the sink in the bathroom. Comfortable, clean, staff extra helpful; they stored our luggage while we went to Macchu Picchu. Good restaurant with large breakfast buffet. Biggest problem is NOISE. People talk loudly in the halls late at night and the staff also talks loudly while preparing for breakfast at 0500. This was much less on the second floor, so avoid a first floor room if you can!

Stayed in Casa Andina Standard in Cuzco for 2 nights in Sept before our Inca Trail, plus one night after we returned. Chose this hotel because assembling point for our Inca Trail was at the plaza next to it. Hotel staff was very helpful, and guided us in every detail about Cuzco. Room was clean and comfy. Plenty of shops and nice restaurants nearby. The coca tea served round the clock at the lobby area was a nice refreshment to us. Very satisfied with the hotel!

Everything at this hotel was great. Great staff, good breakfast, convenient location. They even held our extra luggage while we were hiking the Inka Trail and then had it in our room when we arrived back at the hotel after the Inka Trail hike. I would definitely recommend this hotel in Cusco.

Located right by Plaza de Armas in Cusco, close to number of restaurants and attractions. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. Located about 10 - 15 minutes from the international airport of Cusco.

Very clean, convenient and quiet location. The staff went out of their way to make our visit all that it could be. Check-in and check-out was was effortless. Breakfasts were very good. Really nice selection of food. Staff also provided wonderful insights into things to do and see. We will be back.

Our experience during our 1 week stay was excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. We stored our luggage due to an early arrival and again due to a late flight. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The location is just off Plaza del Sol and is located near many historic attractions. I would highly recommend this location if you visit Cusco. We will be staying on our next visit for sure!
