Good hotel for business confortable and close to the area where big companies are located. Personnel was really nice and very helpful. The quality of the breakfast was great. And the rooms were Ok. The internet connection was also good
Overall the location is quite nice and the food is also not bad but It is in desperate need of updates as room looks outdated but the restaurant is quite good!! The rain shower in the bathroom is quite good with lot of pressure.
Great staff and facility. Enjoyed the breakfast, exercise room was adequate, pool was perfect, location was very good. Concierge did a good job of recommending both sites to see as well as places to eat.
The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The rooms were well sppointed and clean and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic....so good to have a nice, powerful shower!! The breakfast was quite good with lots of options and a Nespresso coffee machine and you can also have eggs made to order. The fitness room and pool are well equipped and very good for a hotel of this type. The hotel is also well located in the centre of Curitiba and just a block from Shopping Curitiba, which provides lots of options for dining and entertainment. Overall, I had a wonderful stay in the hotel and was extremely happy with the rooms and service provided. The only area that I felt could be improved was the quality of the food from in room dining. I ordered in room twice and both times the food was average at best. Other than this, I was extremely happy and would definitely stay here again!
Great hotel overall. Fantastic breakfast included in room rate. Very friendly, cheerful, and helpful staff. Hotel was within easy walking distance of the downtown company facility I was visiting. Room was very good overall. Heavy water pressure in the shower which was a change from some recent hotels I've visited. Only real issue I had was with the TV; only English channel was CNN and the remote/TV didn't seem to provide an SAP function which may have allowed for additional programming (e.g. movies) to be viewed in English.
Sheraton Hotels are always great, but this one was the best. The staff was excellent, specially Fernando at the front desk. I can't remember the names of all the other front desk employees, but they were all fabulous. The helped us with food allergies and getting around the city. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Great location. Excellent breakfast which is always a plus, very accommodating to my son with food allergies.
I stayed in this hotel in June'17 and overall had a pleasant stay. The Good first 1. Very nice/peaceful/noise free room with a comfortable bed. 2. Location of the hotel is very good on a major avenue near taxi stand , bus stand, super market, mall and other major hotels. 3. One of the best thing was the shower. The flow of the water - both cold or hot was very very strong. One of the best shower flows, I have experienced in a hotel. The bathroom also had a bidet which was helpful. 4. The room had a nice city view. 5. Internet is free and decent connection. 6. The breakfast was decent. Though request for a "Capuccino" was denied -they said the machine is broken! 7. Late check out till 3 pm was allowed and was appreciated. Thank you. 8. Housekeeping was good. 9. Choclate brownie was provided complimentary in the room, which was appreciated. 10.They have also have a free iron service for one item - which is appreciated. 11. Free water bottles provided daily. 12. well stocked bar - which one can use and pay for down below. The BAD 1. Front desk is full of 3-4 workers at any given time. I was the only person around them both during check in and check out. Yet, they took too much time to check me in and check me out. The check out lasted almost 35 minutes! C'mon guys, this is NOT done. Head Manager, please organise their training! 2. The front desk staff forgot to return me my passport which they had borrowed during check in for taking a photocopy. I also forgot to collect it. I only realized this one day later. This is very dangerous. Imagine if my passport gets lost! Front desk must be trained to be very careful in returning people's documents when borrowed for taking photo copies! We are tired/exhausted/fatigued from our long journeys and our brain may not be so so active - its your duty to return our documents IMMEDIATELY! Absolutely - NO EXCUSES accepted for this folly. 3. The front desk staff does not know how to print a boarding pass. They kept giving me a mini print out of my boarding pass which would be useless in any airport despite the fact, I sent them a standard PDF A4 document. Head Manager, please send them for a basic computer training course ( similar to what is given to high school kids), please! 4. The Front desk staff is not familiar with the software for adding the bar bills etc and took about 35 minutes to do so during my check out. Head Manager, please organize a training session with your software use, for them. I can not say the front desk staff was rude or misbehaved - that would not be true - but they were absolutely untrained and appeared very naive as if it was their first day in a job ever in their life! 5. Another thing - the hotel does not give final bill at time of check out. Their excuse - it will be sent to your email id 3 days later. I find this ridiculous. This is a way to collect and spam our email ids rather than letting us choose, what way we want our final bills. Four Points - Please stop this idea and do what hotels worldwide do - Give the full bill at time of check out. 6. Another thing - if booked online - this is the only hotel in Brazil which collects another 8 usd over and above the amount already paid online for room booking. Am not sure whats the idea behind it this 8 usd /daily. This is because I have stayed in 100's of hotels in Brazil and never experienced this! 7. The main entrance to the hotel has been shut off for some strange reason. One must walk 20 metres to the side entrance to enter the hotel. I found this very irritating. Overall, I am satisfied with the hotel. But its on the expensive side compared to other good hotels in the city which are almost half its price. So this hotel must maintain its standards. Overall, I recommend this hotel, despite its strange flaws!
This was my second time staying here and I continue to enjoy this hotel. It is well maintained, clean, well located and staff is friendly. Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor and it is abundant and tastes great. There is live music depending on the day. The rooms are quiet and upscale, compatible with the category (=price) of the hotel. Definitely my hotel-of-choice when coming to Curitiba.
The hotel is very good. This hotel keeps the quality of hotels of SPG group. Room was great and very comfortable. I would stay at this hotel once more and I would recommend it for my friends for sure.
Small rooms, bad internet connection,Noisy. Invoicing not made according to local regulations. Using their restoran is a really sad experience. Rooms are clean though. If you don't speak portuguese you're doomed. You don't get what you pay for.
