First off I really appreciate being able to bring my little dog here! He doesn't do well in boarding so it means we both get to have a holiday.I loved the art work in the house, the bright coloured, happy towels & linen & it being right on the beach. Several reviews state it's a bit inaccessible due to the stairs. There are 6 steps to the front door & on this level are 2 bedrooms & a bathroom, then 8 steps up to the living room area & kitchen which leads out to the back yard & beach which isn't too bad. I have injured my hip & managed, being on those 2 levels. You can access the house by walking around the side of the house, avoiding those initial 6 steps to the front door. What I struggled with were the bathrooms. The one on the entry level has a REALLY deep short insert tub with shower over it that I couldn't get into. I really think if it was renovated to become a wet room it would be a much more accessible house, for older people, small children & those with injuries or slight disabilities. The other bathroom is down a steep flight of 10 steps to the primary bedroom. The shower there, while a walk in, is tiny. I'm 155cm tall & weigh 52 kilos & I struggled to turn around comfortably in it so I do think converting the main entry bathroom into a wet room would definitely be a plus for large or tall people too. There are water views from the house up a spiral staircase in the main living area which I didn't attempt due to my injury. That's OK as there is a lovely area in the back yard with water views & from the living area to outside are no stairs & it's a fairly flattish area. Great house for younger couples, a group or younger families with older kids but probably not for tiny young kids, those who are older or have some sort of disability.Hope that helps.
