Good communication from the host and concierge. It's a beautiful space and well kept. As noted in the listing, you'll need a 4WD to get to it - but that makes it an adventure! It's also close enough to towns you can get what you need while also being secluded and very private.

Great house and view, remote location

The house and its view is spectacular, with a great lap pool, comfortable bedrooms and great living areas. The ride up the hill was expectedly very rough, but what we didn’t realize was how far it was from restaurant and beach areas and how bad the roads were to get there. If you are looking for a spot to just go and chill this is near perfect but you would likely stay closer to Samara if you want more activity.

Everything we expected

These pictures really do showcase this property. It’s a beautiful home. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable. You’ll have amazing sunset views and monkeys will be swinging in the trees around you. Our family of 7 stayed here for 6 days. The pool is a great size and we enjoyed dinner on the grill in the outdoor kitchen. The driveway is steep to get up but totally doable. We had a wonderful experience and we’ll be back. We highly recommend this property.

Jungle Getaway

The house is just as listed, no photoshop needed here.Don't think a 4x4 is required to traverse the roads to the house, as we never used 4wd on our rental, but the peace of mind was there.Secluded, quiet, and the only sounds were the distant waves crashing, birds, and howler monkeys.Coffee in the morning in the outdoor living room, dinner at the outdoor dining table! All while overlooking the trees and the ocean in the distance.

Outstanding!!!

Our stay was perfect. The property was as depicted and described - modern, clean, with everything in good order. Beautiful secluded location with no neighbors even visible, with amazing views down the ocean. The pool is amazing and perfectly maintained.What made the stay truly exceptional, however, was the quality of the concierge service. Responses were nearly instant and everything was organized easily and perfectly. We did many different activities and tours, and organized in-home cooking, cleaning, and massages, all via the concierge. A game changer.Would give it 6 stars if I could!

Great location!

The trip started off not so great when the key box wouldn't open with our passcode. Had our driver not stayed to make sure we could get into the home we would have been stuck in the jungle without a key and no cell service, not great. The cleaners were able to come and let us use their keys for the week. I hope that gets fixed for the next renter because the property is secluded. After we got that problem solved the property was wonderful, it we everything the pictures showed and more.

Gorgeous house in the jungle

We loved this house!! It was huge and modern and beautiful!! House has everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms and pool towels etc. The beds and bedding were the comfiest we’ve ever had!!! We stayed as two families with two young kids each. One note - the primary suite is seperate ish from the main part of the house. The pool and outdoor seating area were amazing and you get a beautiful view and can hear all the monkeys and birds. We even got to see a bunch of monkeys in the large tree beside the pool which was pretty cool. Lots of gravel roads in this area and some hills but we didn’t have 4x4 and it was never an issue. Close to lots of beaches to explore and about a half hour drive to nosara if you need groceries! Would 100% recommend this place!!

Pura Vida

Our stay was wonderful. Dani was so great and would honestly try to book another VRBO if Dani was the coordinator. We opted to use the shuttle service to get to and from the VRBO which I would recommend as we arrived shortly after 6pm and it was pitch dark. If we were traveling on our our own I highly suspect we could have easily gotten lost as the actual house locators are not marked that well. We rented vehicles for the week and if you have google maps or GPS on it isn't too difficult but in the dark it is very different. Super rugged and hills. ( We had to stop one night due to a large cow in the middle of the road) We went to Mirabella to the Tiki Hut for a sunset dinner as the beach has spectacular sunsets. (The house won't give you as good of a one) There is also a beach about 8-10 minutes from the house that we went to for a sunset that we just drove to and pulled off of the road and went down to the beach. We had howler monkeys hanging in the trees a couple of days and they did not disappoint!! We did have a couple of scorpions in the house which I won't deny freaked us out but they aren't massive and we killed them. They apparently are over populated. Our chef (Adrian) explained they are like a bees and will sting but unless you are allergic to bees you will be fine. Use lime or lemon to take the sting away. We had steak & lobster chef dinner - AMAZING! A couple small things -outside floor near shower can be super slippery so be careful! Great Trip!!!
