This place is super clean. Cleaner than most hotels I’ve stayed at. Captains room could use a little larger TV only because I’m older and it was harder for me to see. I would most definitely stay here again if I ever came back this way.

Location was great for a jumping off point. Centrally located, yet quiet and somewhat secluded. Facilities were exactly what one would expect (actually better) than the price point. The only issue was the bed. I have traveled to everywhere from Panamanian jungle cabins and Cuban home stays, to Europe and Vietnam; but this was the single worst bed I have ever slept in (captains room). Pro-tip - put two pillows under the mattress, running down the centerline of the bed. Worked well and made the bed somewhat comfortable. I was torn on giving a high rating because everything is fantastic, except for the beds.

Fun florida feel Hotel!

This is a wonderful place to stay with lots of old Fl feel. I am a native and love finding places like this and it met all expectations. The only thing I would suggest is new pillows on the beds and maybe a more comfortable mattress in the Captains room as we had both Captain and Manatee rooms.

Manatee room was pretty clean. We noticed blinds could be cleaner. Needed to ask for blankets. Due to cool front, lodging should have been warmer. Bed might be in need of a firmer mattress. Bkfst selection could use some uplifting All that, we liked the stay. Other guests were friendly. The kitchen person on 1st 2 days was very pleasant. Someone messed up on our 3rd and final day as NO bkfst foods or drinks were av.
