The rooms were rather pokey if you had two large cases but they were clean and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the room on the way back smelled of cigarette smoke but on reflection, this probably wafted up from smokers on the street in front. We slept well and it was quiet and the bathroom clean. The shower head was a nuisance as it would have to be held. There were coffee/tea-making facilities in the room. We were surprised not to be able to access the British news on the television. As one of a large coach party, the lift was a bit overworked and so we used the stairs. The breakfasts were good typical continental breakfasts set for us as a group that filled the room. As a coach party, we ordered dinner ahead on the way back by phone through our courier but the kitchen staff seemed to get this confused and some were disgruntled. For 18€, the meal was small and not very appetising but this may well have been just a meal prepared for our coach party. Do get out if you have enough time on a coach journey to inspect the city even at night. There are some wonderful buildings and a quaint quarter with one or two bars that it would be a pity to miss!
Cozy but a little Small but okay. Free Breakfast is good. Offers free coffee and tea inside the room. Value is good for your money. It is very accessible to outside restaurants and walking distance to many other establishments.
Upon arrival we were given our room card and went up to the room, there was a horrible odour in the room possibly from the drains. Luckily the receptionist managed to swap our room for us and this was smell free! The room was small but clean and the bed and pillows were not that comfortable. In a good location close to the train station and also the town. It was good for the price.
For the price of this hotel I was very pleasantly surprised, very modern and clean hotel, excellent facilities. Perfect distance for a stroll round the beautiful town. Don't forget to pick up some mustard!
We stayed here overnight onthe way to Italy and then again on the way back.. The room was very small but the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very small but OK. The breakfast ladies were a bit grumpy on our first visit but didn't see them on our second visit. Lift very small especially if you are a bit claustrophobic. Hotel fine for just an overnight stay.
The worst experience ever. Rooms are very, very small. Not enough space for two people. Breakfast was a nightmare. The manager was very very rude first of all. This was just over timing. We also found ants in the cereal. And flies in the orange juice. And very dirty cutlery. Will not be going back, ever!
This is probably a reasonable stopover hotel if you aren't, with a coach company like we were. The room was small and the shower room even smaller. (When using the toilet my knees touched the wall!). It was nice to have a kettle in the room though but unfortunately we got an automated early morning call we hadn't requested. The breakfast also was a budget offering - dry bread and croissant orange juice tea coffee and that was it. We found the other breakfast room which had everything including yoghurts and meats and cheeses.
Stayed here because it is close to the station, there are plenty of others close too. Reception and check staff pleasant and efficient. Our room was on the 4th floor looking out over a the parking area I guess and other appartments. I imagine this would be fairly quiet by comparison with those facing the railway. Small rooms with small bathrooms too so don't take any dead cats! ( Aussie slang, no room to swing a dead cat!) Asked for a big bed but it was a double. Comfy enough. Slept with window open, nice and cool. Flat screen telly but only one English Channel and it wasn't working properly! Shower over bath too. Good enough to sleep but very small rooms so don't take much luggage with you as room is very limited. Had a drink at the bar, what a mistake... Slow waiter, slower service forget it!
the hotel is situated near the main station, nice reception with welcoming staff. the rooms are tiny, i could hear the trains running till late... parking is very limited and should be booked ahead. breakfast was disappointing i expected more, another issue is on the way to the breakfast area you need to pass by the pool and breath all the chlorine. the town is beautiful and all sights within walking range.
Stayed on two separate nights. Good service and food. We arrived late on both occasions but they coped well. Room excellent and pool very inviting. Shame we did not have time to try it. Central Dijon location with hotel parking.
