Front desk is unreachable by phone. Room smelled like cigarette smoke, and notice that the smoke detector was disabled/no battery. Notified the front desk in person about that on the first night and nobody ever came to the room. Bathroom faucet constantly ran water. As of when I wrote this review there is still a $50 hold on my card almost two weeks after check out.

It is my first time to stay in this facility. As soon as I walk inside, it smells cigarette residue. It’s so bad that I had to open the windows and ran the AC at high to at least reduce the bad smell. It does not have facial tissue, only one trash can, the towels were worn thin, no coffee maker in the room, and it took a very long to have a technician fix the TV. I will avoid staying in the La Quinta Inn in Costa Mesa, CA.

I booked 1 night fir Sunday 6/26 on orbitz website, total $112. When I checked out, the girl told me that $50 deposit will be credited back to my Visa. Today 7/2 I checked my Visa, the hotel overcharged $172 to my credit card, still no credit yet. I’m going to file a complaint against La Quinta Wynham Inn Costa Mesa & Orbitz on BBB website today

Easy to get there and clean. I feel like the room could’ve had more light. It only had table lamps, and we had a double queen room for 3 people but there were only two towels in the room. I feel like at least 4 should have been provided for a double room.

Took a long time to check in. Walls in bathroom were dirty. Carpet was very stained and looked dirty. Bedding had stains. Outside had garbage everywhere.

The hotel pictures on the internet makes this place look like 2 and 1/2 stars, When you are actually physically at the hotel it is a definite negative 10 and 1/2 stars. It would be an advantage to stay ar a Motel 6 or a 1 star hotel. This place smelled bad and the fixtures leaked big time, Good luck getting a refund, Yes I would pay the extra cancellation insurance. Look somewhere else! FINAL WARNING> DON'T STAY HERE!!!!

Nothing it was horrible not clean I ask for a non smoke and still have me a smoking room

The stay in the room i received was so inconvenient. Upon arriving i had a pre-booked room, but somehow I was given a room with an occupant inside and had to return to office to exchange for a new room. The carpet was filthy in the room I had , so don't get a down stairs room.

Place was very dirty, i found a NEEDLE syringe cap in my room. No proper sanitation measures. Toilet had urine stains , Light fixtures were not working, no iron in the closeth. Room had a horrible smell and the carpet was filthy. Overall will NEVER book there again . I was only moved to a different room after I kindly addressed the room issues. Very upsetting.

It was not what i expected as a hotel. It was more like a no tell motel

They charged me on this app and at the hotel. So now I gotta dispute. Plus my room AC was not working. I was able to get another room but it was disappointing

The bathroom was filthy....debris on floor and two long black hairs not belonging to me. The tub was not cleaned thoroughly. The vending machine did not accept dollar bills and I was not about to place me card through the cc reader. The unit was imp;possible to locate. Value fore the porice was non-existential

This is not the typical La Quinta. It is more like a motel as the doors are on the outside. It is a 2 star hotel so do not expect more. It was very clean but a bit dated. Staff was very friendly, and it was reasonable on short notice.

It’s a very old and dirty place. Staff definitely was the best part very sweet ladies.

The Hooters next door was a convenient option for food and drinks.

Easy to get there and clean. I feel like the room could’ve had more light. It only had table lamps, and we had a double queen room for 3 people but there were only two towels in the room. I feel like at least 4 should have been provided for a double room.
