So where do i start! From the moment we walked through the door the trip went down hill, greeted by the coldest glares from the awful, unhelpful reception staff, not quite the welcome i would expect when entering a hotel! Once trying to check in, we found out we wasn’t staying in the semi decent looking building but the much more outdated and horrible side building. The only way to avoid that jail in the sun was to pay a supplementary €10 PER DAY!! The unhelpfulness didn’t stop there, the restaurant staff were even worse, my wife asked a gentlemen working there where the cutlery was kept n after giving her the wrong directions he had audacity to get angry when she asked him again. Disgusting! No way to speak to a lady let alone a paying customer. The awful restaurant service didnt stop there either, the food was the same, everyday for the whole seven days we were there. Stale Sausages, chips n the bacon taste like rubber! 4 days in, and my tee shirt seemingly evaporated in the Spanish sun, even tho it was packed away, mysterious. When we went down to complain about this, the reception staff dismissed our claims and were not helpful in the slightest. The holiday was booked via teletext who advised this was an amazing place. We were charged £700 for the privilege of staying here. If you’re not fussed about cleanliness, food quality, decent customer service or being respected this is the place for you!!
Absolutely horrible.Very noisy until 5-6 in the morning..then at 7 in the morning cleaning ladys start work.I have to call for security as I was worried about my son and my safety, next day Police came to get rid of 2 guys who were very aggressive and loud and noisy also they drink and smoke. The only person who stands up for this terrible place is lovely and helpful older lady named Anna, she is the only person who actually cares for customers.Staff at the bar is too busy drinking and helping themselves with alcohol and smoking and spending time on the phones that serving customers. We have 2x food poison...also you get a bonus in your room like bed bugs..Did I mention is no Air con in the room, also no Tv, also no wi-fi, no phone..no side lamp...wardrobe was old and smelly and dirty like the rest of the cubords...And definitely, you don't get what you paid for..!!!!!!!! In all inclusive, you have to ask for someone to open up the tub with fizzy drinks in restaurants because they used the special key for it..which is very embarrassing. The drink and snacks in the bar are very basics ...And you have to remember to bring your empty cup after you finish your drink because the bar stuff is too busy with themselves or drinking and smoking while working, how professional is that. They only get to work or pretend to work when unexpected tall, slim and bold man show up .I wouldn't give any star to this hotel but I will give one because of the truly caring person who work there and her name is Anna and she is the only one who truly cares about customers. Please invest in good ear plugs !!!
We had room with terrace facing the pool. The size was ok, they clean it every day (also changing towels). There were more plugs, not just one. Yes, w/o fridge and ac, but nowhere says that have it. You can't expect too much of ** hotel which is one of the cheapest in Loret. The breakfast was not amazing, but normal (eggs, sausages, mushrooms, olives, muesli, fruits etc.) We like the lunch and dinner ( fish and meat, fresh and cooked vegetables, pasta, cookies and ice cream etc.) The negative side was no free wifi (but you can buy 1hour for 1euro, 1day for 5euros...) Also loud, as is cheap hotel there were a lot of young people (having fun by drinking and playing music on the terraces) Busy, central location, with a lot of shops, 5-10min from the beach. If you plan to be out all day it is good place, but if you want to rest- better find other hotel. Summa summarum good for the money.
Staff were really friendly (bar one cleaning lady). The food was a lot better than you would expect from a 2 star hotel. The only let down was the rooms. They were really outdated and had no air con, our sheets weren't changed only flipped upside down and turned around. ( I got a bit of chocolate on it one night, the next night the same stain was by my feet and towards the mattress). There are a lot of really bad reviews on here and I was mortified when I read them (after I booked) but it was actually a really nice experience. Yes, it could be noisy, you're quite centrally located in an area with an active night life, it was quieter than I expected. I would recommend getting a room around the pool if possible as it was much quieter (we swapped rooms at the beginning of our holiday). Also, you do have to pay a deposit if you are all incl usive (we paid 10 euros each) but we got it back, no issues, when we checked out.
just back from a three night stay here. please do not stay here. Very noisy outside till about 7 in the morning then the cleaners start to bang about with their trolleys. Breakfast was terrible we ate out all the time. all in all a bit disappointed with Lloret de Mar found it to be very run down and dirty. Pease think long and hard about coming here.
After reading reviews after booking the hotel I was absolutely devastated! Wondered what is let myself in for and wasn't looking forward to going although I regularly stay in lloret but try different hotels. When we arrived the place appeared to be clean and tidy. Check in wasn't the fastest but nothing to be too bothered about. Asked for a safe but the boy didn't really know what to charge as it was only 5 days so we left it to go back. Went to rooms again seemed clean. Couldn't find the lift so just used stairs. Was given room 216. The rooms are tiny and have no tv or air con. The bath is small but we only shower on holidays so was no big deal. The other downside was no fridge! That night was worst night ever. The small balcony overlooked the busy street and the party goers kept us up all night. Reception let us change rooms and gave us a fan. The maid found my purse with few bits of money in that we had forgot to bring to new room when changing but she left it in new room with note and didn't take a penny! Staff all friendly but only a few spoke English I think. Security very helpful also but things were a bit slow moving. Breakfast wasn't great at all. The bar didn't have a variety of bottled alcohol. Hotel is in perfect spot with shops all around. Not far from beach and the main strip is easily walked in around 3 mins. Although i wouldn't stay again if it's the same as it is now maybe if they had air con and a fridge in the room then I would. Thank you for a lovely few days away
Absolute disgusting rooms and tiny couldn't swing a cat, bed was old and rickety , one plug socket for anything electrical and that was in the tiny bathroom above the sink ,no air con , no TVs , we was eaten alive , very loud area at 6 in morning when all young ones coming home From clubs lift broke 3 times within 3 days , food atrocious , bar doesn't take holiday spends cards and that's if there's actually any staff willing to serve you , great location but that's about it AVOID
On appearance very clean and welcoming , Staff helpful and fluent in many languages, Swimming pool area ok for size of hotel and surrounding area kept clean and tidy , Rooms ok for what we paid , decent beds, balcony , wall safe , built in wardrobes and plenty of storage for clothes etc, Shower a little strange as it's like a bath made for tiny people but pressure brilliant and room service kept room clean, Wifi services I found to be a little slow but good for the money , Great location for beach lovers and city dwellers as it's in th middle of it all and a 1 min walk from the bus station . So overall I'd say well worth the money and I would stay again.
Booked as a late break for three of us ,one of which is an invalide and has difficulty in walking we reserved after having viewed the description and photographs of this hotel which seemed impressive. Having arrived at the hotel and making the mistake of paying up front before seeing our room, we then took possesion of the room .We had paid extra for a Balcony with a pool view in order that our disabled colleague could take advantage of it, without having to walk too far, only to find that it was so small that only one chair could be placed on it ;;;sideways !!! After 5 minutes in the room the building noise started we then discovered that the hotel is under major renovation works building noise above, below to the side and outdoors from early in the morning until the evening it was just impossible to rest in our room, we were so disappointed. The next day we arranged a meeting with the hotel manager we told him that we should have been informed of the ongoing works and that had we have known of them we certainly would not have booked this hotel ;; in other words we had been deceived. He offered to place us in another resort which would have been totally impractical as we only had 4 nights and it meant moving our disabled freind again into another unknown situation . All we wanted to do was leave and have our money back. We were told by the manager that he could not give compenstaion without the authority of the owners and that he would speak again with us the next day . I tried to speak to this manager for the next two days without success until the last day when we had a meeting with him and he told us that we would not be having any of our money back . We left early and again received no compensation. Probably one of the worst hotels in respect of misrepresentaive discription and poor customer service that I have ever stayed in .
Iliana, Jordina and Anna are amazing, most fab staff ever! Jordina speaks fluent English and makes us feel at home😘😘 we have had such a nice time and had the most help we have had since we've been here!
