Recently refurbished to a very high standard. We had a room with air conditioning, hairdryer, safe and balcony with pool view. Fantastic value for money! Very central location (just above the brilliant King's Grand Cafe), about 15 minutes walk to the train station. Barcelona is about an hour away, but also consider Girona, which a similar distance to the north, and well worth a visit.
Lovely holiday, room supposed to be superior but small. We asked for a double bed which we got but there was also a single bed in the room which took up a lot of space and was only used to hang clothes on!! The food was great, we were half board and how anyone can complain about the food I don't know. There was so much selection, plenty fish , meat , fresh salad and fruit every day as well as yoghurts and cereals for breakfast. Eggs cooked to order And breads of all sorts. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Beds made every day and fresh towels every day. If the rooms had been bigger I would expect this hotel to be 4 star .
Rooms lovely and clean, staff absolutely wonderful and can't do enough for you. Breakfast not the best but dinner was lovely. Restaurant downstairs is better than the main all you can eat buffet. pool area is nice and clean with plenty of sun beds. Will definitely be going again
There was a wide selection of food but nothing to spectacular i tried to play safe and had the pizza wich somehow they managed to mess us tasted of gone off milk. Tv was around 8 inches with 9 channels we went to the hotel just beside it which is also a 3 star and to our shock it made our hotel look like a hostel. The have a spa but nothing special containing 1 hot tub a sauna and steam room as well as a gym. The pool tasted of salt water wich was shocking and the bar staff had a horn wich they would sound and at the start it was all a good laugh but it gets way too boring and irritating way too quick. The wifi was slow. The beds were comfy but nothing special. The beer tasted way too bitter for a lager which im not a fan of. Deffinetly wouldnt stay here again. Shocking to be rated a 3 star. In my books a 1 and a half or just scraping the bottom of the barrel for a 2!
Debra an family . Stayed here for a five day holiday could not fault the bedrooms. Good food . The evening entertainment staff for kids work really hard . This hotel need Sun shades an new Sun Beds desperately. Room cleaned daily. Staff at reception really helpful. Would I stay again yes we would
This hotel was very good for the price we paid. Great swimming pool but only a few good sun beds.. make sure and get the blue ones! Pool is deep one end and shallow the other end so was suitable for all ages. Entertainment was good.. with aqua gym and shows on at night etc.. Very noisey all the time though! I was used to smaller hotels so you could go for a lil sleep but here there is always kids screaming or music playing which was good but I do like quiet sometimes for a sunny snooze! Some of my family had rooms facing the pool and if you want early nights ask to be on the other side of the hotel it is so loud at night time. The view on the other side is nothing though just a hotel. There are a few things to do in the hotel like a spa and gym.. limited equipment in the gym but good enough for what you need on your holidays! Cleaners were so hard working and our rooms were on the top floors.. level 3 and they must have been recently done as they were lovely. Great powerful shower!! The little cleaners did such a good job each day amd replaced our towels..made beda etc Excellent location for tourists though so much going on at night. You can have your pick of entertainment. The hotel had ok entertainment.. the clown show was funny! I have one complaint though.. one reception staff member we has constant problems with. She was cheeky from day one and just was so unhelpful however the rest were ok. Food was good.. big ques sometimes but nice selection and the staff were great too and so friendly. All in all a good experience!
WE were here in July, and we loved the place, the room was spacious, nice balcony, clean big bathroom...... the restaurant was large enough, good choice of meals, tasty, lots of fish, lots of fruit and vegetable, every day they had a special dinner (pines, dry fruit, sea food, children evening with lollipops), really amazing.........staff very nice... The only thing I would say is weird.... in this age when even street shops accept credit cards, the hotel unfortunately doesn´t. Neither does a hotel bar. Take cash :-))). And the other thing was the animation team..... Well, the guy, Jose....he seems weird sometimes, maybe people like it but sometimes he went too far.... There are small children present, he could learn to behave....
just got back after 11 days here what a lovely hotel room was great comfy beds nice big shower nice and clean clean towels everyday staff very friendly and helpful only had breakfast was always plenty to eat plenty of seating down stairs nice pool there is a place down stairs from hotel have food and cheep would recommend beach just over the road
Lovely place to stay, polite and very helpful staff, clean rooms, exellent and various food. Close to the beach.Nice restaurant in front of the hotel. If I decide to spend my summer holiday in Santa Susanna again, would stay in this hotel.
we have just got back from the Riveria after staying the week and i have good and bad points about this hotel, The room was very clean but because there was 3 of us in our room it was abit squashed as I think it was only meant for 2 people. As our room was on the !st level facing the front of the hotel it is really noisy all night as you have a disco right next door. if you do not que for a sunbed at 8.45 then when they open the lock for them there is none left as there is not enough sunbeds and a lot broken and they do not have any shades about,The food was really good most days and lots of choice but defo cater for the Spanish but saying that at least 70% are.i also would like to add that the chef is one of the rudiest person I have ever met and not very nice to anyone but the other staff are lovely and hard working. The entertainment day and night are very good and hotel bar prices are very reasonable and hard working staff. I didn't have any children with me but the kids club looked good.I would properly go back there as I was good for the price we paid but defo need a room at the back of the hotel
