From 9th to 16th Oct '17, my wife and I stayed at the Indalo Park after having our initial holiday cancelled following the Monarch Airlines collapse. I have never been to a hotel which was so technically up to date and switched on. The reception staff were so efficient. The room was lovely and perfectly clean, with a card with the maid's name, ANNA. What a good job she did. I was impressed that all the lights were LED, and the room electrics were turned on by the insertion to the room key card on entering the room. Very Green! The wife paid 5 Euros for internet access which was very fast and no connections problems anywhere in and around the hotel. The food was of excellent quality, both for breakfast and evening meal with a fantastic selection of salads, but not every one likes garlic and cheese on everything. However it was sometimes a bit repetitive, but rabbit and liver in "sauce" were really good. We were second sitting, 8 to 10 pm, and by 8.30 pm things were being cleared away. But, after all, it is an International hotel and has to cater for all, not just us Brits. The pool area was good, with plenty of sunbeds and clean. Drinks in the hotel were a little pricy. Well placed in the resort. wish we had known that there are mobility scooters for hire, not from the hotel, but with charging point in the lobby.
revisited this hotel from last year because we enjoyed it so much.glad to see olga on reception still as helpful as ever, olso susana, great thanks. the entertainment,is excelent and bar service good.as of the dinning selection could do with a better selection such as gateaux custard sponge, although this is only my fancy.i though that the head man in the restaraunt could be a little more friendy.the hotel and the rooms were very clean.so all in all i will be back
Lovely, clean room, with very comfy beds and a good sized balcony in a great location just off the beach, our only issue was that the air conditioning didn't work. The pool and Terraza area are fantastic as well with 2 hot tubs and friendly table service from the bar. The food was good, a varied selection but the dining room was a bit chaotic in the evening and only having an hour for dinner made it feel rather rushed. At breakfast the continental selection is excellent with a vast array of fruit, pastries, cereal, sliced meats and cheese and delicious warm bread but we found that from the hot selection, the bacon and sausage were consistently rather undercooked for our taste (Bordering on raw on a couple of occasions!) The hotel has a nice, relaxed attitude and the staff were all friendly and helpful. All in all, excellent value for money and a delightful week in Santa Susanna. Moltes gràcies,
A wonderful holiday ... cleanliness, excellent food, maximum fun, friendly and friendly staff. The team of animators, unpaired. Thank you Kelvin, Lydia, Gabriel, and sweetheart Joseph. I recommend everyone .. go without fear ..
Myself and Husband arrived 29th Sept till 6th Oct with Jet2 Holidays great flight from East Midlands transfers a bit of a bore sat waiting for nearly an hour on bus before leaving, arrived resort 3rd drop off at Indalo Park Hotel checked in allocated room 439 nice room double bed and single beds, shower, safe, TV (no English) lovely view of sea to left and mountains to right. Was H/B so no breakfast with early flight so went out found a nice bar the food in Restaurant some was nice but Spaghetti Bol was so bad very bland no taste needed flavour (make better myself) but did enjoy steak, loved satay sauce salads ,Fruit, pudding Breakfast was ok plenty to eat cakes, bread Eggs fruit juice did eat out twice to try outside, WIFI not good Paid €5 each could not get on floor 4 if we needed to look on our phones had to come downstairs for better reception, used indoor pool was warm also used Jacuzzi once but was always full also did use sunbeds by the pool but was getting attacked by flys so sat outside more on our balcony, beds are comfortable did find towels small in bathroom, entertainment not for us plenty to find outside nice restaurant bars shops also on last morning breakfast is at 8am so no breakfast for us as picked up at 7 55 would we go again yes we would enjoyed our week in Costa Brava and also if we could have that view again did enjoy that
On arriving at the Hotel, our party consisting of my wife, daughter, & granddaughter where warmly greet by the staff, they allocated our rooms for the week I ask if they where quiet rooms because of my grandchild, they affirmed they where after reading a review before traveling. Took the lovely glass life up to the fourth floor, we had rooms 413 & 414 both very good over looking the back of the hotel. Food in the restaurant excellent, good choice of dishes. Excellent indoor pool for the granddaughter and good outdoor pool. Great location easy to get around to the beach ect.
Well located hotel on promenade(separated from beach by railway)but with nearby subway under track. Welcoming reception staff and comfortable well kept rooms with walk in shower. Dining was a disappointment with the menu being virtually the same every day and the staff although working hard seemed short handed and unable to keep up with table clearing. The overall effect was like a busy works canteen.Hand sanitation was ignored by a high percentage of guests. The pool area and grounds were attractive and well kept and the animation staff were friendly but not pushy. The evening Flamenco dancers were excellent but some of the other evening entertainment was very monotonous.Having the same group on for 3 nights and another group for 2 nights in one week was poor. The hotel has potential but needs a bit more effort to make it good
Nice hotel, good location and well worthy of its 3 star rating. Good price paid and, we felt, good value for money. The negatives I have listed are the things that niggled me but would not stop me returning. If you do decide to visit later in the year, as we did, bear in mind the hotel tends to be full of older people, some of which have no manners to speak off, especially in the dinning room. Positives: - Cleanliness: excellent, both in the rooms and the public areas. - Food: very good, lots of choice and variety. - Rooms: modern and spacious. - Staff: friendly and efficient. - Locations: excellent, in the middle of the 'strip' with an easy walk to either resort. Negatives: - Dinning room: too small for the amount of guests. Queuing up the stairs to get in is ridiculous and once inside it's a scrum. - WiFi: we were on the 5th floor and it was almost useless. Costs €5 for a week and in this day and age should be free (and working on all floors). - Pillows: small and flat. Very uncomfortable. - Information: nothing to advise what hotel services were available i.e. the money card and nothing about what there is to do in the area. - No designated smoking area: whilst I know they do not have the same laws in Spain as in the U.K. it would be nice to be able to watch the evening entertainment without breathing in other people's smoke (yes, I hate smoking). - TV: whilst I don't come on holiday to watch TV all day there were no English channels of any note but plenty of Dutch ones.
Lovely hotel friendly staff clean place fantastic rooms very good size. Food was good. Plenty sun loungers no problem getting one. Disappointed with the money they charge for things. My partner had to keep his insulin in a fridge (which we had in our room) but they asked for 21 Euros to switch it on. 5 Euros for the WIfi 75 Euros for the use of a wheelchair (not the electric one) that was 125 Euros. 30 Euros for the safe. That is well over 100 Euros before i started my holiday. I thought this was shocking. The only entertainment was in the hotel and i found it was more for the Germans than the English. I would go back if there were more English pubs but we only found one. A great little British pub called the Drunken Duck but it was more for the men all Football Football Football.
We stayed for two weeks in August. We found all staff to be very helpful at all times, reception and bar staff very pleasant and helpful. The food was superb , steaks most nights and such a variety, every week they do a themed night for children in the restaurant which is really good. The rooms were kept really clean every day, bedding spotless and bathroom supplies replenished daily, with clean towels daily. The look of the hotel inside is really nice and so is the terrace and pool area. The only problem was that during the two week stay the Dutch put towels on the beds before anyone had a chance so there was never an opportunity to stay by the pool, however the beach is 5 minutes away and it is a lovely beach with ample beach bar/cafes and it is quieter. For a family of 3 it can be quite expensive as it is 6 Euros each for Sunbed and parasol, other alternative is to buy your own parasol as this saves money during your stay, 24 Euros a day starts to add up. The beach is a fine shingle, the sea really clear and clean, but it does drop quickly to deeper depths . The beach is so big it never seems over crowded and at night the beach bars are really relaxing. All in all LOVELY hotel and staff it's just a Shame that the Dutch still put Towels on the sunbeds. Would visit this hotel again.
