Beautiful House and Location

House was great, right at the entrance of cinnamon shore. Easy access to the beach. One thing that we did not like is the house had no blinds/ thing hole like curtains, so in certain bathrooms and main living area, your neighbors and roads can definitely see inside the house.

A Perfect Stay at Coconut Cottage!

Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Coconut Cottage for the month of February with our two dogs and had a fantastic time! The space was roomy and comfortable, perfect for both relaxing and working remotely. The internet was fast and reliable, making remote work a breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, and the home was spotless and well-maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

Ate at Dylan's which was very good. The smores night was fun and playing ladder ball on the lawn and kids running around. Great family place.

Perfect beach house for family with dogs

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this house. House was nicely furnished and kitchen had all that you need. We loved hanging out on the several porches. The house had all that you could want for a great trip. We loved that we could bring our dogs. One recommendation would be to provide an outdoor hose at the house to get the sand off dogs, beach toys, etc. I would say a golf cart rental is a must at this property because it’s at the back of the property. I would rent this place again.

Wonderful Spot for a Family Getaway

We had a lovely stay at the Coconut Cottage. The neighborhood has so many amenities to appeal to everyone. We enjoyed Kiera's pool where we were able to purchase food and drinks. We appreciated the umbrella and chair service on the beach. The house was close to the highway, but it didn't bother us at all. We had a slight issue with wifi, called the number on the information sheet, but they were unable to help us. The house was very clean, decorated beautifully and we loved being able to take our dogs with us. We had 6-7 family members throughout the week and we had plenty of room. Thank you for having us!

Thanksgiving week retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great property that was very comfortable for our family of 5. WE took advantage of the space to prepare a Thanksgiving feast. We used the community fire pit one night (right behind the cottage). Cottage is only a few hundred feet from most amenities. Only complaint would be the golf cart storage in front of the unit and the construction mess around the corner. However, the unit itself was very clean and comfortable. Great time of the year to be at the beach!

Last time at Cinnamon Shore

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately this will be our last time staying at Cinnamon Shore. The entire community is showing its age and doesn't seem kept up too well for the price you are paying. The people are friendly but the houses are aging and not in a good way. Our house had rusted exterior lights dangling by wires which blew constantly in the wind. Additionally we had a faulty smoke detector that went off randomly. Lastly our microwave didn't work, which is very unfortunate when you are on vacation. The house was in a terrible location next to construction on 2 sides and with the entire golf cart operating just behind. This house really seems like it could have been anywhere other than the beach. I would never recommend this to anyone, and I'm just upset we didn't get on a plane and go elsewhere for Memorial Day. We easily could have for the amount we spent.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this house was great and served our needs, I would stay here again. I noticed a few things that I feel could use some attention. For example, the outdoor light fixtures on the back patio are so worn down that one of them is literally hanging by the wires, and every time the wind blows it hits the wall and makes a noise you can hear inside. The downstairs master bathroom has a sink that needs drano. Within 8 seconds of the sink being on it’s completely clogged with water. Overall though, it was a great house, kitchen had plenty of tools and utensils to use.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at the Coconut Cottage in Cinnamon Shores. Great location with the grass yard off the backside of the home and walking distance to the "town center" and coffee shop. Quick golf cart ride to the beach! We could hear the live music playing at the town center off our balcony patio from 7-8:30p, which was nice! Bring your own beach towels, as the home did not supply these. We did not have any laundry detergent on site, so we weren't able to use the washer/dryer. Other than that, the house was fully equipped with what we needed!

21st Bday trip

We surprised her with a house in Cinnamon Shore North. It was the perfect spot for her group (and Mom and Dad as well) to beach, pool, eat, and celebrate - mostly all on-site. Coconut Cottage was a great, pet friendly house that we’d rent again. The description was accurate and had everything we needed. Cinnamon Shore customer service was great!

Coconut Cottage was a perfect choice for two of our families. It was in excellent condition and beautiful. The beach is beautiful and the overall property is first class. We highly recommend renting golf carts on site and driving the beach into town. There is so much to do or simply do nothing but relax. The grandkids had a blast.

Perfect Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Coconut Cottage is perfect! We enjoyed the Cinnamon Shore a lot. Kitchen is well equipped but the exhaust vent was not meant for family cooking. The house is missing an outside hose to rinse off feet, and it took us a minute to locate the garbage disposal (on the side). Kids' bedroom and second floor bedroom face the freeway but it was not noisy at all.

October extended weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Coconut Cottage was a great vacation rental. Perfect for 3 generations. 3 young kids in the bunk room, their parents in the adjacent first floor master suite, and grandparents upstairs. Being close to highway 361 was not a problem, we knew to bring a small fan for "white noise", but it wasn't needed. We walked to Dylan's Pizza and the Market. The golf cart got us to each pool on the property, and of course to the beach each day. To date we have enjoyed 3 different rental properties, in different seasons, and yet can't seem to escape the mosquitos. Perhaps the Cinnamon Shore staff could consider judicious use of mosquito fogging the area. The beach experience was wonderful, as usual, the onshore breeze keeps the bugs from crossing the dunes. We will continue to be happy repeat renters.
