My family stayed here between Christmas and New Year's Eve. It was a very relaxing stay. The area is a short distance down the road from Whitecap Beach. The furniture accommodations were a little worn and dated, but it definitely did the job for my family. There is plenty are sleeping accommodations, enough for at least 10 or 11 people. Plenty of cookware and utensils provided, great for my family who cooks all of the time vs. eating out at restaurants. There are no basic seasonings, such as salt/pepper that some short-term rentals include.
For those with dogs, there is a dog park nearby in close walking distance. The downside is that the dog park is right next to a water treatment facility, and the smell is not great.
Padre Ecapes was super responsive and has the best customer care of any short-term rental owner/property manager that I've ever experienced! All in all, we enjoyed our stay!
