Pros and cons

Upon arrival the light was not working so it was very dark trying to access the keypad. Called the property and they said someone would be out the next day. Never came. The stairs were very treacherous carrying suitcases and stuff.Microwave handle is broke. Dead cockroach. Place was clean and nicely decorated.

Great location

It is really nice to have the beach so close and the option to drive right to the board walk! The home has the basics but could use extra blankets and silverware. It would be nice if there was a booklet with information on how to get to the private beach, that you can drive right to the boardwalk, hours for things such as the pool and game area. We were left to figure it out and when we text Vacasa they had no idea on any of it.

Great location.

The location is great. Close to the beach and downtown Port Aransas. I really liked how the property had a pool, hot tub, and game room. The condo is decorated really nice. The only downfall is the condo was not cleaned well. There was dust and dirt behind the tv's, on shelfs and dressers, and on the floor behind and underneath beds and furniture. I would recommend the place being deep cleaned every once in a while.

Footprints in the Sand

Nice property, good location and superior beach access. Only issue was that the place had a stale odor which we eliminated with some strong air fresheners.

Clean Property and Unit- location not accurate

We had booked a vacation rental solely on the proximity to resources: Things to do, restaurants, away from road etc. This was advertised as close to the beach (off TX-361) and near Cinnamon Shores. Upon arrival, it is right up on TX-361 and next to Port Royal. The unit itself is clean, well stocked, and nice but the noise from the road is horrible outside on the nice deck and can be heard all night long inside as well. Please check location if that is your desire for a unit in Port A.

Great location and comfy accommodations!

We came for a long weekend with our tween daughter. Brought our kayak and did some fishing (launched just across the road). Walked to the beach and spent the day, returning in the evenings. Nice pool and game room.

Great place to stay

Lovely condo with private beach access. Complex is undergoing construction so it was crazy noisy during the day. Google maps tries to take you to a totally different location. Very much appreciated the assigned parking space and the easy access to the boardwalk.

Unexpected visitor

We left a day earlier than planned. A raccoon also lives above this unit that maintenance is well aware of and yet, the owners continue to rent. The raccoon lives it’s best life between the hours of 2 am and 6 am, so no rest was had. A lady knocked on the door one morning for “pest control” and she also knew about the raccoon. She said “we’ve tried to get the owners to fix the holes and spaces”. We left more stressed than when we arrived. I’ve reached out to Vacasa who manages this unit and have not heard back. Renter beware!

It was just okay. Door lock a little hard to operate. Not very clean with corn chips under the dresser and pulls under the bed. There was trash left in one bin in the kitchen so we used the other one. Wind was high and whistled around the doors, fireplace was not functioning, Beds were comfortable and lots of hot water. For the showers. Large Coffee carafe was broken so many small pots every day. No kettle slo boiled water in a pot

Too many stairs

First 3 flights of stairs was extremely hard for us ages 75 and 76. Beach access was a joke. You had to drive to boardwalk on an overgrown path and then the boardwalk was extremely long. We had to drive to a beach access road to go to beach. Beach view was barely there. Condo was perfect.

Clean & ample Condo

We stayed in mid August. Husband, adult child, and dog. The condo is nicely decorated. Lots of thought in matching the decor. Beds were comfortable. All bedding and decorations are modern. Quality of towels, very good. Balcony very ample. If I had to point one not so positive, the condo is NOT directly on the beach. One can take a 4 min easy stroll to the bridge to walk over the marsh. Or one can drive their car to the bridge. Access is for private use only and is just outside the building parking lot. No elevators, so pack accordingly to get to your condo. I found the buildings to be up to date, clean, and quiet neighbors as well. I felt very safe.

Not on the beach

This property was nice but I wouldn't say it was "on" the beach, it's quite a walk, stairs were very steep and there was not one extra garbage bag or laundry soap, overall stay was good but I won't be staying at this property again.
