Blue Whale sadly misses the mark
Before I start, let me say I have stayed in many VRBO properties and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. Unfortunately this one really impacted our vacation stay.
Pros: good location; easy walk to beach, small pool and hot tub are as advertised.
Cons: Very, very outdated property, very old furnishings and worn decor.
Carpeting was filthy when we checked in, I imagine little care will be provided to clean it when we leave. Windows were so dirty you could barely see out of them. In general, the whole place was just dirty and very run down. The two bedrooms on the main level did not have adequate venting and so remained warm and tough for guests to sleep in comfortably. Dishwasher did not fully clean dishes; sent note to maintenance, never heard back.
Sense maybe this property is in transition- regardless it is way overpriced and just not a good experience.
Skip this one until they can make some very much needed investments /upgrades to this property.
