This hotel was right next to the train station which was convenient. We only stayed there one night, but the hotel was great, and the staff was nice. The hotel manager took the time to figure out how to use the gift card that we had. Thanks!
The hotell is next to the train station, small and even though is says marriott on the entrance I believe this is not a marriot. This is more a courtyard type hotel with very limited service..The hotel s quite new and clean not far from the main tourist attractions.I arrive in the afternoon and there was only one person in the front desk,no service at the bar/breakfast restaurant.Probably the heat kept people at home..More suitable for business travel than family travel.
Location was great. Next to the train station. As a Marriott elite member I was upgraded to a suite with one king bed and one sofa bed. Late checkout is available for Marriott elite members. The lady in the front desk was helpful. Breakfast was not bad.
We booked a 4 night stay deluxe room with KS but were advised at check in that QS room was quieter. Well, it was quiet but sadly, so small we could barely move around our 2 bags! No tea and coffee making in the room but an unworkable process whereby you had to order hot water from reception/bar and it would be delivered! Well no actually, you simply could not wait and it was better to go down to get the hot water, carry it up to the room for a much cooler cup of tea! Really, what could Marriott be thinking when guests have to walk around the reception area and take a lift carrying hot water? Thankfully, the airconditioning worked well during the extreme heat (40+C ). We needed assistance to print a tour document and Susana, at reception was extremely cheerful and helpful. The hotel is a only 5 minutes from the train and main bus stations, a good 20-30 minute walk to the old city through the gardens; there's a good supermarket 3 minutes away. We tried dinner at the hotel on our first night but there was a tour group and they were given priority, and the kitchen could not cope with extra diners.Breakfast was included in our room rate but was variable in quality and ordinary at best, with the worst hot water machine which spat and spluttered while filling the cup. It's the small things that made this stay at a Marriott less than expected for the rate charged.
So far my trip in Spain, this hotel is the best. Best wifi, clean and neat hotel, bathroom is clean and smells good. Interior is minimalis and modern, and most important is the hotel awesome clean, which hard to find in Marocco and Sevilla. ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Finally....i can sleep well. Oh ya...and the staff is also nice and polite.
Visiting from Australia Traveling with partners Spanish family The rooms were large beds were comfy Air conditioning was awesome Clean. Good location Friendly desk staff Gym Car parking Room service Bus stops across the road.
My wife and I returned a week ago from a 3-week trip through Spain and Portugal and had a great time except for a jarring experience at the AC Hotel Cordoba on the morning of May 19 around 7:30. We had spent just one night there and went to have breakfast before taking a bus onto Sevilla. My wife left her handbag on the seat nearest the rear wall of the 2-seat table that we chose and both she and I went to get juice and coffee at the Buffet table, as we usually do. When she returned to our table in a matter of maybe two minutes her quite large brownish pink handbag was GONE. She came and told me in a panic and we surveyed the breakfast area (3 photos attached) and there was no sign of it. The breakfast area which is not in an enclosed room is on street level with the front desk at the opposite end, and that morning it seemed about half occupied with people who appeared to be with a tour group. Neither the waitress nor the front desk clerk to whom we reported the loss attempted to even ask any of the other diners if they saw anything. Nor did a manager appear to offer assistance or even concern. The front desk clerk told us the police would not come there and that we'd have to go to the police station to report the loss; she surprisingly said the hotel couldn't look at images from the video camera, which was pointed directly at our table, until we got the police report. When we returned later with the police report she said the hotel couldn't look at images from the video camera unless the police were there in person. Luckily my wife was able to get a Temporary Passport a week later in Lisbon, and we have taken care of credit cards and other documents that were in the stolen handbag. A cellphone, watch and cash that were also in the stolen handbag seemed minor in comparison to the angst of getting the temporary passport in time to catch our flight back home. We have travelled to many other countries in Europe, Asia, South America, and Australasia, and unfortunately this was our first experience of theft.
The hotel is next to the train station. We saw the big sign right after stepping out of the station. It makes easy to find after a long flight and train ride. A nice 15/20 minutes walk to all the attractions. Room is clean, bed is comfortable. Staff is very helpful, uncorked wine (we got it at nearby supermarket) for us. No ice machine ( is it a American thing?) But they gave us some from the bar. Breakfast buffet choice is slimming. Wall is thin. We can hear people in hallway and street.
Smart and trendy hotel, good service. The location is just facing the train station, and the old town is a short walk away... Loved it. Do ask for a top floor, north side room if you can, it will quiet and you will have a lovely view on the mountains ! The bar/restaurant has great service and the food was very good.
I like ac by marriott hotels a lot, I like this one, because is modern, but everything is about good service Very few employees, I firmly believe crisp in Spain is being abused by business people and hire less personnel than what a hotel needs Such a potty for a country such as Spain, with many touristic places Breakfast was terrible, really poor in terms of quality-price Location was good
