Floor carpets and funny smell in the room. They should consider upgrading the bathrooms... really old. Great location. Good breakfast. It’s ok for a night or two, but would expect more at this price level.

We stayed here in August before going on a cruise. The hotel is in a great location and we didn’t know it was gay pride when we there so it was very busy but very pleasant. The only thing about this hotel was it was very expensive compared to the other hotels and the room pretty basic. We paid over 600€ for two nights and I didn’t expect a palace but the room was very basic and I need of some modernising. Hotel staff very friendly, great location but over priced! Just next to train station but you don’t hear to much!

Stayed in The Mercur on a recent visit to Copenhagen and the Hotel was very good centrally located about a 5/10 minute walk from the central train station and close to the Tivoli Gardens in The City. The hotel itself is centrally located and check in was prompt and very easy .Staff were very helpful and we stayed in a two bedroom suite which was actually two ajoining rooms on the first floor. The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable and the two bathrooms were big and well equipped. The breakfast was good and choice of hot and cold food and gluten free choices.Overall a very good centrally located hotel in a beautiful amazing city.Would recommend to stay here if visiting Copenhagen...

Went by myself and felt very safe and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again! The view was insanely amazing and it’s close to the train. Can be noisy tho because of that so maybe not your place if sound sensitive.

It's a good option to visit Copenhagen. It's in the centre, close to central station or Tivoli. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are comfortable. Only the bathroom has a low evaluation for me (when you use the shower The bathroom be flooded)

Clean, very good service. Big variety of breakfast choices including gluten free and lactose free. Everyone friendly with genuine smiles. Great location, close to centre. Highly recommended. Good value.

We first stayed at this property when it was a Best Western hotel; which is why we returned. Little has changed with the new ownership. It is a comfortable property, centrally located with a more than adequate breakfast be you European or American. Be aware, the rooms are not air conditioned. However, ac is not really needed as the windows open, there is a fan in the room and the nighttime temperatures are comfortable.

In general, the hotel has met the expectations. The staff was very friendly. Its location in good, also has a good transport connection (Vesterport St). From the airport you reach the doors of the Hotel (interchange at Nørreport St., with the Metro line 2). The rooms are cozy and have good soundproofing. Breakfast is complete (coffee, yogurts, fruit, juices, cold cuts, some sweets and some hot cooking-eggs and fried bacon). It has luggage storage service.

I do not understand some of these reviews. For this price and for being a 3 star hotel, you get exactly what you pay for. The room was of good size, beds are pretty comfortable, bathroom is clean, a tv right in front of the bed, a balcony with a nice view, breakfast was surprisingly good (lots to choose from) and the staff is friendly. The hotel is located close to the central station. Only bad thing was the noise as it is close to the train station.

Expensive to stay here but hotel is average, and in need of a lot of updating. No air conditioning in the small rooms, so we had to sleep with window open - which is very, very noisy if you have a room at the front. Very small, motel like bathroom with open drains for the shower and one below the sink - which gave the bathroom a constant drains smell. breakfast was ok, but would probably get an apartment and self cater in hindsight. Location is good, though quite a walk to any areas with decent restaurants. The city is very expensive but we did enjoy seeing the sights. Hop on & off boat trip is definitely worth while, as is a Free walking tour (where you pay the guide a tip at the end) - which is great for info and getting an idea of other things to do.
