This vacation home, ideal for relaxing stays not only in the summer months but also in the winter months thanks to the mild climate of the place, is in typical Mediterranean style. It is located in a residential area of Comiso and offers a beautiful pool. Guests have at their disposal a large outdoor area of about 4,000 square meters. A veranda, the windows of the living room-lounge and one of the many bedrooms overlook a shady lawn garden refined by a pond. The house is divided into two halves that are not internally connected. All eight bedrooms are available to guests; a large courtyard with flowers and numerous jasmine plants offers another veranda with bamboo canopy, a characteristic spring water fountain and an elegant gazebo in the center. The modern and inviting pool precedes an olive grove, under which is the parking area. Thanks to the convenient location you can reach: Comiso, the ancient "Casmene", rich in history, monuments and with a characteristic urban layout, hence the name "City Theater" of Comiso. The great charming cities of Catania and Syracuse are about 100 km away. In 20 km you can reach the places of a famous and popular TV series in this part of Sicily: Ragusa, Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Scicli, Ispica. About 40 km away are the baroque towns of Noto and Caltagirone, home of ceramics. For those who love the sea, the clear waters of the villages of the Iblea coast can be reached in 20 minutes by car: Scoglitti, Punta Secca, Marina di Ragusa, Donnalucata, Cava d'Aliga, Sampieri, Marina di Modica. The small airport of Comiso (some daily flights) is not far away.

Liked: Cleanliness
Belle piscine, grand terrain, maison agréable, spacieuse et bien située (accès ville). Pas de wifi à notre arrivée. Clims chambres en dysfonctionnement (couloirs ok). Adhésifs sur les ouvertures (trop plein) des lavabos, bidets. Volets coincés à notre arrivée, huisseries vétustes, fenêtres, portes, stores, serrures et mécanismes archaïques et capricieux. La condensation des clims coule sur la terrasse devant l’entrée. 2 des 3 parasols de la piscine endommagés à notre arrivée. 2 cuisines, mais incomplètes en vaisselles, ustensiles fatigués, insuffisants en quantité ou qualité. Deux cuisinières à gaz antiques avec allumage manuel (et une porte prête à tomber). Une seule plaque par four, incompatible d’un four à l’autre, impossible de chauffer 2 pizzas en même temps dans un même four alors 6 ou 8 !). Pas compris le fonctionnement du lave-linge. Nous avons ouvert le hublot et inondé le sol, l’essorage ne s’étant pas lancé de lui-même. Pas de lave-vaisselle. Pas de micro-ondes.Conso électrique excessive sans comprendre pourquoi. 228 pour 1 semaine, contre 47, la semaine précédente (maison avec piscine), peut-être l’éclairage automatique le soir (électrique ou solaire) ? En conclusion, nous avons constaté un réel manque de suivi sur l’entretien de la maison et le suivi des divers équipements et ustensiles de cuisine. Un potentiel certain, mais l’ensemble de la maison mériterait une sérieuse remise en état…
