Convenient and cozy

We booked this for our annual trip with friends. This was our first time using VRBO and the host made it a wonderful experience. He was very responsive and proactive in giving us the information we needed to make our stay memorable. The location was convenient and only a short walk to great food. There was more than enough space for four adults to be comfortable, without feeling like we were on top of one another. Overall, great experience.

Perfect for what we needed

You can tell time and money was put into the interior to look nice and modern. Absolutely no complaints there and it was very clean, we came here for a music festival and it was perfect for a family of 4. The exterior could be advertised/shown a little more To improve accuracy which is what I saw was a main complaint before staying. There is a nice front porch area, not much of a back yard. I had no issues with the neighborhood, looked like a lot of families on that block. Communication was excellent and the check in/out process was very easy.

Very accommodating

Stayed for almost a week with our dachshunds as we attended a local show at the Ohio State Fairgrounds and it had ample room for us. Pretty quiet neighborhood and felt safe. Wish we couod have gotten use of the backyard for dogs but we made due as we werent there much. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean property/good value

The house was very clean and location was close to a lot of dining/entertaiment. Our only complaints were very thin pillows and listing stated there would be complimentary coffee, water and non-perishable breakfast items but we couldnt find any of those. Would stay again though. Great communication and value iitems.

Rodents & Heat Issues

Woke up to find food was completely gone from a large rodent. In addition, the heat didn’t warm up the second half of the house. You also have to access the backyard from the front.

Needs some work

The inside was beautiful and very clean. You can tell that it has been updated and well-kept on the inside. However, one of the beds was held together with a ratchet strap and the other had a dip in it like it was missing support. The outside is a whole different story. The house looks nothing like what is pictured on the listing. The front of the house is overrun by vines and other plants. The porch has a hole in it at the top of the steps, and the storm door’s handle and lock is broken. The color of the house doesn’t even match the picture. The backyard (not pictured) has a great privacy fence, but you have to fight the bamboo to get out the door. As soon as you open the door the branches hit you in the face and you have to push them out of the way and duck to even get outside. The seating on the small patio is not usable at all. The storm door at the back is missing the glass/screen so any water coming off of the bamboo comes right in and on the main door. Despite its faults on the outside, I would stay there again given how clean and nice the inside was.

Very close to Nationwide Children’s Hospital

Residence was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. Exactly what we needed and close to the children’s hospital. Will definitely be staying here again when we come out for more appointments.

Inside of the home was exactly as pictured…outside was not and wasn’t very safe either

I have no complaints about the inside of the home. It was cozy and the kitchen and bathroom were nice. However, the outside of the house was not as pictured at all. In the pictures everything looked landscaped and nice. We brought our 2 dogs with us and were excited about the fenced in yard for them to run around in. However, they weren’t able to do that. In fact, we only kept them out there long enough to go to the bathroom because the backyard was completely overgrown in a bad way. Grass was super tall and the bushes, trees, and weeds were so overgrown that when you’re in the backyard looking towards the house you can’t even see the house. The patio set out back couldn’t even be used because there was stuff growing over top of it. Because of this lack of landscaping, there were bugs everywhere. I got bit up by 20 mosquitos just being outside for 5 minutes cleaning up after the dogs before we left. Various other bugs outside as well. My partner and I were worried that the dogs would get bit by something so we didn’t leave them out there for long plus there was barely room to run around with everything being overgrown anyways. Also, every time we were outside the neighbors were out there yelling. Neighborhood was okay, it seemed to be just the next door neighbors. Front of the house was overgrown as well, made it look kinda abandoned from the outside. The back door looked like it could’ve been broken into at some point, missing window in screen door and older broken deadbolt.

Cute & Quiet

The house was cute and clean, and the neighborhood was quiet without a whole lot of traffic. It is on a one way street so parking in front of the house wasn’t a problem. I was happily surprised because the surrounding areas weren’t the greatest. It slept all 6 of us very comfortably and the rainfall shower was a bonus! Plenty of towels and pillows and everything you could need! I highly recommend booking this house and will be booking it again for my future trips to Columbus.

Above and beyond!

This rental was very clean and in an extremely quiet neighborhood for being so close to the city. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed having a kitchen with all the stuff we needed for the long weekend. Communication with the owner was very good. It had advertised a hair dryer, so I did not bring one. When I couldn’t find one and asked about where it might be, I got a response that it had gone missing and that one had just been dropped off on the porch…brand new and still in the box!! Great service and I was very appreciative! I even got a message saying someone’s shirt was left behind! Will definitely be staying here again when we visit Columbus.
